Breakfast was fine and they looked after the necessary gluten free meals well. The evening meals were very tasty and they were able to give us a basic lunch if we needed it. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly and seemed to know what we needed before we asked for it. A very comfortable bed and bathroom facilities.

We had an amazing time at Masseria Filippo de Raho! It's a beautiful place, with a very convenient location for day trips! Very relaxing atmosphere, stunning rooms with great attention to detail, and a nice pool in the green garden. We especially enjoyed the fresh and homemade food - the best pasticiotio and Cornetto in Puglia!

Quiet and relaxing location with a great pool, surrounding view, and picturesque facilities. Room was exceptional, very comfy bed and sunken jacuzzi bath which was a great touch! Breakfast and dinner was also very good. We'd recommend eating in the restaurant for dinner if staying.

This Masseria is beautiful, remote, clean and quiet. The grounds and rooms are stunning and the staff are very kind & helpful. The pool was also a great spot to enjoy the afternoon sunshine and our terrace had wonderful views of the sunset.

We had a truly lovely stay at Masseria Filippo di Raho. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by the peaceful countryside, yet only a short distance from the beautiful city of Lecce. Filippo was such a kind and welcoming host—he immediately made us feel at ease and at home. The pool is stunning and perfect for relaxing, and the food was delicious. Everything about our stay felt authentic and comfortable, and we left with great memories. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Puglia.

Amazing property in very peaceful environment. Very nice dinner at the restaurant, I am vegeterian and there were plenty of options. We had the pool For ourselves and was really nice and relaxing, great start of our holiday, we only stayed one night but I wished we stayed more

The dinner was delicious and had a view of the garden. Filippo was very kind and prepared us a takeaway breakfast as we had an early trip. The staff was nice and attentive. Filippo responded quickly and we appreciated the early arrival.

“An excellent masseria, ideal for exploring Lecce and surroundings.”

We arrived at this exceptionally well designed massaria, immediately being met by the owner Filippo whose ancestral home he has preserved to the highest standard of taste and design. The masseria is a few kilometres from the beautiful city of Lecce which makes it an ideal location for seeing the town and exploring the coast towns nearby. Our room just off the main courtyard is one of the most spectacular we have ever stayed in – a cathedral like stone ceiling was something incredible to wake up under in the morning! Every creature comfort considered with slippers, high quality toiletries, towels for the pool etc. The dinner and breakfast were truly superb. And the most helpful and accommodating team to provide your every desire – cocktails to eggs cooked anyway you want! We would not hesitate to recommend this superb masseria.

This exceeded every expectation! What an experience! One that we will remember forever. Filippo, the owner and host, was so incredibly kind and took care of every single detail. The Masseria has been in his family for five generations, it has an amazing history. The rooms were well appointed with beautiful vintage furniture, and brand new bathrooms with luxe toiletries. Filippo also organised massages on site for us which were fantastic. We also dined at the Masseria one evening and every dish was delicious - and a great way to explore Salento cuisine further. The in-house pastry chef prepares the most delicious spread every morning made with produce from the surrounding farm - including a variety of beautiful cakes, homemade bread and jams. But the highlight of the spread was the house made pasticiotto, a special pastry in this region, with crumbly short crust giving way to the most spectacular creamy filling! We were also travelling with our toddler and were a bit nervous to disturb other guests. But we were always accommodated and made to feel right at home. This was such a special experience with the best hospitality. You must stay!!

Location is amazing, in the middle of a huge property with gorgeous trees and surroundings. We had a great view of the sunset from the terrace of our room. The room and bathrooms are very big, as is the bed, and quite comfy. The fresh breakfast is amazing, many thanks to the great lady who makes it (jams, cakes and all), it was on another level! (unfortunately her name escapes me right now). The pool is beautiful and you have access to the whole property if you want to take a walk (or run). We had dinner there one evening and the quality was also excellent.

We didn't get any information about anything when we checked in. The restaurant is overrated. Breakfast is good but the dinner not so good. They also didn't change our towels during our stay even though they were on the floor.
