Overview
This colonial-style house, run by the same family since 1889, is located metres from the beach in Vilanova i la Geltru. The rooms have natural light and views over the gardens. Hotel Cèsar features 19th-century elements such as the fireplace and library, alongside modern areas including the garden and restaurant. There is also a small hot tub and a sauna, which is free between 19:00 and 21:00. Massages are available. The Restaurant Gastronómico La Fitorra features maritime décor and opens onto a lovely terrace. It serves Mediterranean cuisine, including seasonal products and specials. Snacks are also available 24 hours a day. César offers décor based on Greek Temples and air-conditioned rooms with TV, safe and bathroom. El Hivernacle is a summer snack bar set in the pretty gardens. It includes a large salad bar. Hotel César is situated between the Garraf Natural Park and the Parc Natural de Foix, on the Costa Dorada. The beach is just 150 metres away.

“Lovely stay in Villanova i la Geltrú”
The Hotel has a very convenient location, very close to the beach which we could see from our room! The Hotel is a little dated, let’s say, but it has character and the room was spacious and clean. Same goes for the bathroom. Breakfast was good with decent variety. Reccomended!

“Great location, nice hotel”
We had a great stay at Hotel César with my husband and my two Golden Retrievers. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The hotel's location is great, just a few steps from the beach. Our room was very spacious and clean.

“Excellent hotel”
This was our second stay at Hotel Cesar. Staff were very helpful when my husband took ill and an ambulance had to be called. Homely hotel very close to the beach and facilities.

“A pleasant stay”
The hotel is charming and has been run by the same family since the late 1800s, which really gives it a warm and personal atmosphere. My room was generally very quiet compared to the noise of Barcelona, although on Saturday night it was a bit loud from nearby venues when the air conditioning wasn’t working. That said, this is not really the hotel’s fault, though maybe better sound insulation could help. The room was clean and even had a small bookshelf corner, which I found to be a lovely touch. Since I was in the area for a wedding, I didn’t spend much time at the hotel, but for two nights it was more than enough. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider coming back if I return to the region. The fact that you can also walk to the beach is a big plus, especially for longer stays.

“Terrific value, superb location and incredibly helpful staff - a great family run hotel!”
We were greeted late in the evening and then we were so grateful to be helped to buy a parking permit. We had to make arrangements to change for a wedding and we were helped by being able to leave our bags in a safe place. The desk receptionist went beyond her duty to help us and we were so grateful

I had a very pleasant stay at César Hotel in Vilanova. The experience was excellent overall. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the sea and conveniently close to many restaurants and local attractions. The hotel’s own restaurant was also impressive, offering great food and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Review for Hotel César, Vilanova I had a great stay at Hotel César! Despite my late arrival, the receptionist kindly waited for me and ensured everything was in order for a smooth check-in, which I really appreciated. My room was very spacious and had a beautiful sea view, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely—although we were the first ones to arrive, the staff made sure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few steps from the beach. I visited during the winter season, so I didn’t get to enjoy sunny beach days, but I can imagine this place being perfect for a summer getaway. Overall, it was a lovely stay with friendly service, a great location, and comfortable accommodations. I’d love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer!

“Smaller but nice family hotel.”
The hotel is very close to the beach, for this reason it is an excellent location. The hotel does not have a hotel beach, the beach is public, but it is still clean and we like it that way. It is right next to the beach promenade where you can find restaurants, bars or ice cream parlours. It's about 10 minutes walk to the town centre, which is also absolutely great. Although the hotel is close to the beach action, it is in a very quiet area, there is also a park close behind the hotel. The location of the hotel is very good within the city. The train station is about a 20 minute walk, which is also still fine. The staff at the hotel is what makes it one of the best things about the hotel. The people staying at the hotel were friendly decent people, it's a quiet family run hotel. Housekeeping daily. Also very interesting is that the hotel has its own swimming pool, not very big for swimming, more for relaxing, but very good for kids. The pool also has a counter-current water flow. Also there you will find a sauna. Near the pool there is a bar. The hotel also has a restaurant and it looked very good, they will also make a picnic for you on the beach. We didn't use it though, so next time. I can't rate the parking, we went by train. The room wasn't very big, but it was quite sufficient for two. The powerful air conditioning helped a lot. The room also had a refrigerator and a desk to work at. The overall impression of the hotel is very good, it feels like a small but cozy friendly family hotel. I would especially rate the interior of the hotel, it was very nice, everything is tuned in a retro classic impressive style, which is probably what I liked the most about the hotel. I hope we will come back to the hotel.
