The breakfast was amazing, way better than what was expected. The staff listened to our needs and requests and made sure we were heard. Things got way better after getting the portable heater in the room, as central heating was off for some reason. Definitely check the temperature forecast when you plan to go there, and ask for heater in advance.

We arrived late and the Hotel Tejar made every effort to make our arrival as simple as possible. The rooms are exceptionally well appointed and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a very pretty little village and we had typical Canarian suppers at Tasc Andrés (excellent stew and local wine) and the next day at Restaurante Hermano Pedro.

Very quiet, huge bedroom and very comfortable beds. The breakfast spread was very good and the staff was nice enough to accomodate us with a breakfast to go! We would go back

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel ambience is superb and the room is spacious. The bed is perfect and makes you sleep like a baby.

We stayed for one night also eating at the restaurant. Our waiter was delightful and ensured we were okay with everything during our meal. The room was basic but offered a large bed which was very comfortable. The room was dark and the area quiet allowing for a good night’s sleep.

Good location

Cosy small hotel in nice village in the mountain with more oportunity to the treks in surrounding, with nice garden, with very good breakfest, not far from Teide.

Beautiful, airy room with high ceilings, lovely views and a massive bed. A very peaceful place to stay. Excellent buffet breakfast too, and a friendly and helpful team running things.

Excellent location, spacious room and wonderful garden. We loved the location of the place it’s next to all the important trails to Teide and also the Biggest Pine tree in Europe.

The room was spacious. It was very tastefully decorated and was very comfortable. We would have had a great view if only it would've stopped raining. The rain was incessant.

“Solid stay, great staff”

Stayed here as a base for hiking Teide - worked out perfectly. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast was genuinely good, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help with whatever you needed. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely warm and comfortable room - great views and wonderful staff - restaurant was amazing
