My recent stay at Hanne's lovely home in Finland was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The house itself was impeccably clean, warm, and inviting, with a charming feel that perfectly captured the essence of Finnish hospitality. Hanne, our host, was incredibly responsive and attentive. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing me with helpful recommendations. Her kindness truly made us feel like a valued guest. The house's location was ideal, situated in a tranquil area surrounded by stunning natural beauty. It was close enough to explore the town's attractions, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity of the countryside. The backyard was particularly special, offering a breathtaking view of the night sky and the mesmerizing aurora borealis. Recommended, 10/10 :)

The property is everything we hoped for. Very cozy. We stayed one week and owners gave us enough wood which was really needed. We made barbecue inside and outside.. Frozen lake ouside was dreamy during the day and we saw the northern lights during our stay. We hope we will come back again.

Fantastic, cozy cottage with a beautiful view of the lake. Fully equipped (one of the best equipped apartments I've ever stayed in), warm even in frost below 25 degrees. The cottage has a fireplace and a sauna. We rented a small house for a family of five and we had enough space and everything we needed. Very good location, to Rovaniemi about 24 minutes by car. Very helpful and friendly hosts. I would highly recommend!

the house is very cozy, there is everything you need in. sauna is great. we are happy that we decided to choose this location and stay outside of Rovaniemi, since we could watch Aurora here.

A wonderful, fully equipped vacation home for us with a decent, friendly and caring host, preparing everything in an excellent condition... We felt welcome starting from the night we entered the front yard. The outdoor lights were turned on and inside were nice deco lights and a small christmas tree! Kitchen has all utensils and even things like spices, ketchup, mustard, sauces, tea, pasta were left over from guests before - check before you go for groceries to buy unnecessary things ;-) Don´t miss jumping into snow, coming out from sauna while steaming - nobody is there to see or disturb you... ;-)!

The cottage nr 2 is a very nice wooden cabin in typical red-and-white. Decorated for Xmas with lights and cute details. Two bedrooms inside, with extra bedding provided. Comfy living/dining space with large couch, table (even a baby chair), fireplace (wood is provided for 3-4 days and you can buy extra, which they will deliver). A super equipped kitchen - dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, pots and pans and whatnot. Did not miss any useful items (potato masher? check! grater? check! even a rolling pin and a handheld dough mixer!). I appreciated that they leave basic provisions from previous occupants (oil, flour, spices, coffee etc), it’s very practical, preventing wastage , and a nice change from some French gite’s that do not even offer salt 🤣. There is a bathroom with rain shower and clothes washer, and sauna. The floor heating is wonderful in the winter, and the shoes and clothes dry very fast. Important with kids. There is a porch with swinging seats and small table, overlooking the lake. When we were there, the lake was frozen solid, with knee-high snow… You can see sunset over the lake. You can also see aurora borealis, if you are lucky like my husband (the week we were there was not very aurore-i). There are sleds provided and you can go sledding on the hill down from the reception area (other side of the road). The cottages are within a convenient drive to Rovaniemi, they run snow ploughs on the road to the cottages, very appreciated. We have not met the owners, but they are very communicative through the booking app and whatsapp.

The cottage and surroudings really nice. We booked small cottage and fit perfectly (4 adults and 3 kids), clean and cosy. Has all we needed, full equiped! Fire place very nice. The cottage lokated arround 30km from Rovaniemi, but as we were with our car, that not a problem. And it is next to main road from there its easy to reach Santa Claus village and Santa Park. It is next to big lake, so if you have skates, bring it!

“Amazing time in Finland”

The whole cottage was incredible, clean and secluded in the middle of nowhere which we loved. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need.

Well equipped cabin, comfortable and located not far from the airport so its easy to reach. The cabin is less than 1 min. walk from the lake and there was a rowing boat We had a great time
