“Delicious food and very comfortable- great hospitality!”

Very comfortable property. Lynn and Christophe were extremely hospitable and produced the most delicious breakfast for us. Would definitely recommend Salty Woods.

The owners Lynn and Kristof were super kind and we felt comfort along with other who also stayed there. Breakfast was super and very healthy. We walked a short distance to the area nearby for dinners. We really enjoyed the stay ...the back veranda was private for us only and the pool was nice to take a short swim which was all we need and the salty water was good perfect cool temperature very refreshing. We are so grateful to Lynn & Kristof. xx

Beautiful comfortable, new and modern design. Hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was home made and excellent.

“Perfect to relax and explore”

New, stylish house; room was very nice with own terrace to relax. Very quiet surroundings, perfect to relax and explore the region. We rented the bikes at Salty Woods Lodge and used the many great bike routes to explore the regions. You can also easily walk to one of the villages for dinner. Two beaches can also be reached by foot which we liked a lot. Breakfast was very good and a lot. We especially liked that it was vegetarian with vegan options. The vegan option varies from day to day and is preparded with so much love and detail that you want to take a photo of it! One of the very few places in South West France where we could get non-dairy milk for coffee/muesli! The hosts are very friendly, love to connect with their guests and provided lots of useful information on restaurants and activities and also did reservations for us for a surfing class. Merci beaucoup!

“What a magical place!”

It doesn't get much better than Salty Woods Lodge! Everything is made with so much love and eye for detail. Lynn and Kristof not only treat you as guets, but make you feel at home at the Lodge. The B&B is close to the beach as well as the cute town of Vieux-Bouceau-les-Bains; it even has bicycles that you can use to get around. Oh and the homemade breakfast is simply outstanding, you don't want to miss it! We can recommend everyone to stay here and will definitely be back soon :)

Clean and modern

Excellent relaxing ambient for sunbathing, coffee or refreshing at the pool. Very clean. Charming and helpful hosts. After going through lots of trouble in the beginning, they helped us to organise a taxi, later some cars (which were extremely hard to get, extremely expensive during that time, and specially reserved for the citizens in France) and spontaneously a surf lesson. Bikes and washing our clothes, both there were for free. Additionally to the usual breakfast, you get a special handmade plate and a smoothie every morning. The choice was very healthy and also pleasant to vegans. The only small matter they hadn't was a personal fridge. For that reason, they plan to achieve a big one with individual boxes for every visitor.
