My room was upgraded without a cost from Country Club to Pihkala which has newer an more comfortable rooms. The personnel was extremely kind at the reception and in restaurants. The lakeside sauna should have some kind of information about the dressing rooms, but I loved the experience and swimming in the coldish water. Finnish people are relaxed and friendly when "bara bada bastu", which is nice when travelling alone and wanting some company. The nature is beautiful and the chances for various sports are numerous.

It would be cleaner as I am used to see in Finland. The garbage wasnt taken during the whole stay of mine. There used to be cattle in the rooms in other facilities, it would be in these rooms too. As its getting really cold around and there is no kisosk for hot drink or any place to buy.

Stayed one night during a road trip and got a great price for an ensuite room with breakfast buffet included.

This wasn't what I expected! (But none the worse for that). It's an enormous sports complex and when I was there there were dozens and dozens of teenage girls taking part in a cheerleading contest. My fear was of getting a noise-interrupted night;s sleep but that wasn't the case at all. The room was comfortable. There are some lovely forest and lakeside trails: I walked one in the evening and ran another the following morning before departure. There are two restaurants: one is a bit basic (had breakfast there) but the other, where I had an evening meal, is excellent.

It was ok for a 1 night stay, but it is more like a hostel. Breakfast was good, comfortable beds.

Great place for outdoors activities. Me and my son stayed at 7404 room. Room have all necessary's dryer closet, mini fridge, small tv, desk and chair, clean towels and soap. I didn't checked information correctly about indoor swimming cost additional. Reception lady ❤️ kudos gave us access to pool (really made my son happy 😊). Weather was not on our side 16 Celcius. But we went to near by Valkjärvi (not me ) to swim. Breakfast was good value for the price. Thank you country club staff.

You get what you pay for :) We we’re totally happy staying at the Country Club. If you really just need a clean place to stay, don’t hesitate to book. Sure it is simple and outdated, but this is also reflected in the price. We didn’t mind at all the 3min walk to breakfast.
