The staff managed to solve an error with our booking timely and accurately, treating us warmly despite being busy with serving people at the restaurant. Rooms are clean, breakfast good. I'd 100% recommend the hotel and come back if I had the chance

“Good place for a short stay”

Very good location for a short stay, with a very nice restaurant , breakfast and electric car chargers. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was on the small side but perfectly fine. Useful to have access to a fridge, tea/coffee and seating.

Comfy guesthouse by the side of the road. Great restaurant and friendly staff.

“A night stop over”

We stayed there a night as a stop over from Husavik to Reykjavik. It was clean and staff was helpful. Its on the highway and nothing around it.

There was a lovely seating area dedicated to a much loved Grandmother.

Located in the "middle of nowhere", it is a haven for the people who travel from Reykjavik to Akureiri. We were on a road trip on a snowy and freezing day, and we were so happy, arriving at night, to find light, warmth and a very friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant waited for us to arrive and even if it was quite late, prepared a good and warm dinner. We could have a very relaxing night here and were ready to continue our drive after a good night's sleep.

Quiet location, lovely decor and I loved grandma’s living room upstairs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the food at the restaurant is amazing.

“Really good choice! With a good restaurant!”

The location is great if you are driving around Iceland. The room was nice, the private bathroom is a little bit small but has always hot water. We also had access to a living room with a small kitchenette. There is also a restaurant with good food options in the ground floor. The guesthouse is on the road 1 but has no village nearby, so there is darkness in the area, ideal for the northern lights. We actually were lucky enough to spot them. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is provided.

Very helpful staff. We were a bit worried being right next to Route 1, but honestly the noise at night was not an issue coz there was none. Also very close to some epic waterfalls.

I am glad that they had a sitting area outside of the rooms with coffee and tea. The staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean.

Breakfast was buffet with lots of options.

“Perfect stopover in the North”

Great location. Excellent restaurant, wonderful atmosphere. Lovely staff. Great facilities for relaxing in the lounge with fridge and tea making. Comfortable bed.

restaurant downstairs was super yummy! the staff was so friendly, making check in simple. parking available on site. the room was spacious and wifi worked well throughout. free coffee / tea in the upstairs area & fridge if you need to store any groceries.

Facility in a strategic location. Nothing else.

“Convenient stay on the Ring road”

Convenient location for the Ring road. The staff is nice, we appreciate their adaptability as we were late for our check-in. The rooms are quite cosy and the breakfast was good.

Delicious food, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Would love to stay again if I ever come by here again.
