“Mixed feelings.”

The building and the streets around it are absolutely gorgeous! Very traditional and nicely renovated. The apartment was small but the terrance was spacious and comfortable. The Citadel is a short walking distance from the apartment as are public transportation and shopping areas. Keep in mind that some areas are narrow and quite steep to walk.

We loved the bright characterful room and thoughtful way it was installed. A nice touch was the water filter by the well! Only wish we had come later to make use of the terrace.

“Great place, loved it.”

Loved my room at the top with private terrace overlooking town. The whole place has been very thoughtfully renovated. It's not a big room but has good functional space solutions. I found it to be cosy and comfortable. Good bed and pillows...great daylight.....yes please! The terrace is a little haven with a nice view.. with plants and little birds come to visit. Staff helpful and respond to questions swiftly. I would definitely return if in town. Thank you.

The location is excellent. Loads of character, close to everything in Victoria including the citadel, bus terminal, supermarket, basilica and lots of cafes and restaurants, at the same time located in a quiet street in a beautiful building.

Ancient house is a great experience to stay. Location is great which is in the centre of Victoria town. 1 min by walk to an area with some fine restaurants and pubs.

Such a lovely apartment - had everything I needed for a wonderful comfortable stay. Location was great - easy walking distance from the main sites in Victoria and to the bus terminal to everywhere else on Gozo. Gianna and Andrew were very attentive hosts and very easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed my 5 days here and was sad to leave.

Absolutely brilliant location in the heart of old Rabat/Victoria. Really quiet and peaceful and yet only a minutes walk from St George's Basilica and the main city square. Lovely roof terrace and public areas. Apartment itself full of character and charm, with an excellent shower.

We had a fantastic stay at Historic Hideaways – 900 Year Old Converted Studios! The place has a wonderful mix of historical charm and modern comfort. The rooms were spotless, inviting, and full of character. The staff went above and beyond—always kind, helpful, and attentive. It was a unique and memorable experience that I’d highly recommend to anyone.

This was my second stay at Shambala (this time in unit 5) and I couldn't recommend it enough. The house is ideally located in the heart of Victoria, yet in an extremely quiet street (no cars). The studio is well furnished with anything you might need for a short stay, and the bed is surprisingly comfortable. The private terrace with view over the hill was a lovely breakfast spot. The hosts are also very easy to reach in case of need, and make sure everything is fine.
