This Heimaey island guest house is 500 metres from Herjólfur Harbour in Vestmannaeyjar. It offers a communal kitchen, TV lounge and free WiFi. Guesthouse Árny’s rooms have wooden floors. It looks older in the photos than it actually feels once you're in. Very cozy, comfortable, quiet and nice place, with clear instructions around all over the place about how the facilities works and nearby some of the coolest places in Vestmannaeyjar. I recommend this accommodation and I'd back again in the future

“Nicely kept home on a pleasant estate at the top of the town”
Any place on the Westmann Islands is a bystander to its setting. This is a well-maintained home on a pleasant estate above the town. It is an 11-minute uphill walk from the port, passing the bakery that makes a good place for breakfast. Everything is walkable here, including the traces of the volcano damage from 1973, so no need to bring the car. The town's brewery and taphouse is one of the best in Iceland and there are good restaurants too. After I left my keys in my door, the owner went out of his way to get them back to me urgently via the ferry operators - thank you.

Very easy access, Arny emailed all the relevant information. Kitchen was well equipped, even though we didn't use it. Comfortable room and lots of parking out front.
