Wonderful location, right in the center and unusual setting on the boat. The boat is neatly set up overall, and check-in check-out very easy and straightforward.

The Savy Hotel really is something a little different. Take the experience. The rooms were very good - small but comfortable. It is right at the heart of Verdun, with cages and shops nearby - not that those cafes and shops were all that interesting.. There is inexpensive pay parking across the street between 9a-7p, and then it’s free overnight. Breakfast was good - cereals, breads, pastries and they’ll cook some eggs and bacon on toast for you.

“Great location, unique property, but horrible customer experience with unhelpful manager”
Unhelpful manager-owner. We arrived at 12:30. Hotel has very strict hours for check-in, only after 17:00. Manager was inside but refused to open the door so we could leave our luggage there. He lied saying he was far away when he was not. We had to go elsewhere carrying our luggage. Air con was broken. Windows was jammed.

It was unusual in that it was a floating barge and it was in a very peaceful setting despite being close to a main road.

Fantastic location and unusual place to stay on the river in the centre of the city. Very little traffic noise. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast in the bar area. Plenty of bars and restaurants but beware of opening times / days. Really enjoyed a trip to the Subterranean Citadel.
