“Authentic stay in the French countryside”
Fred is a very hospitable and welcoming host. The house is also really nice, it also has a beautiful garden. We loved fresh croussants, baguette and home-made jam for breakfast.

“Wonderfully charming and authentic stay in a beautiful old French farmhouse”
Fred et Cecile's beautiful farmhouse was a fabulous find. Utterly charming in a very pretty little village. The rooms were really spacious with very comfortable and good quality beds and bedding. Fred was always on hand to help and we enjoyed a wonderful evening meal including one of the best cheese boards we had ever had! Fred and his wife were with us for the meal and we also enjoyed some amazing wine and champagne from their cellar. Fred was so friendly and we all enjoyed some really interesting conversations with them during our stay. Breakfast was also delicious with fresh pastries and bread from a local bakery and a wonderful selection of homemade jams. Overall I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for an authentic French experience in a stunning setting. I'm sure we'll be going back again!

“Brilliant stay”
Frederick was a splendid host. He cooked a three course dinner for us and presented us with a cheese platter that was full of unique cheeses which he explained to us and told us about the french cheese culture. We were very happy to have stayed at the impressive house. Until next time!

Very charming place! We stayed with our baby and toddler in the family room which was spacious and comfortable. Frédéric is a welcoming and friendly host, and prepared a delicious breakfast. We would recommend staying here!

We can totally recommend to stay here. The place is just great. It is very quiet and remote and all is very good shape. Breakfast and dinner were lovely and Fred is a great host.

Peaceful location, beautiful farmhouse with a great ambience, seriously comfortable bed and an amazing host who spoiled us from arrival to departure. A wonderful supper cooked by Fred, including a selection of the finest local cheeses and a wine list to rival most restaurants at very reasonable prices, including several local champagnes, followed by a breakfast with a selection of about 20 home-made jams from his garden. He made us so welcome it was like staying with an old friend. Luxurious and yet relaxed. And very dog-friendly.

Fred is quite a character and a very nice host. Everything was excellent and his knowledge of local food and wine is extraordinary. We are the evening meal and accompanied this with some wine from Fred’s cellar. If you are in this area we would throughly recommended this property.

“Great stay”
Fred and Cecile were very welcoming. We had a family room and booked with only 30 minutes' notice as needed a stop over on our way back to England. The room was very clean, with a separate private bathroom and toilet on another level. The beds were very comfortable, and we will definitely be back. Fred has great knowledge of Champange, and we may have purchased a bottle or two!
