An amazing property, the garden, the house and Sandra is super helpful and so nice. This was a truly chateau experience and the location is just perfect.

The chateau was excellent and joy to stay there.Sandra the host was lovely and very informative about the chateau and it's history. There was lots of things to explore in the area regarding the normandy landings. Every thing was a short distance when visiting Caen...bayeux and Cemeteries American and comenwealth war graves. FANTASTIC PLACE THE CHATEAU....WILL BE RETURNING AGAIN.

Beautiful backyard and front yard - the entrance itself is immaculate. Sandra & team are exceptional, and I hope to visit again soon! The chateau is clean and primed for visitors. Particularly enjoyed the backyard and access to the lake, the ease with which we could get some fresh croissants from the local boulangerie and enjoy a comfortable breakfast with a view was utterly breathtaking.

Beautiful garden with many places to sit and enjoy it, the funny sheep and goats, the birds, the castle itself with nice decor and everything is very clean, very friendly reception by the owner, close to the sea on walking distance (10-15 minutes), bakery and grocery shop nearby. What’s not to like? :)

What an exceptional and magical place this is. A beautiful château with a wonderful garden full of interesting animals, which our children loved to interact with. An amazing place, the perfect location for Normandy exploring. Located just 5mins walk from the British memorial its is a great central location for all of the Normandy landing sites and museums. The Chateux has a small pool and beautiful grounds with some resident animals (Bunnies, Ducks, Goose, Swans, Sheep and Goats which you can ask to feed to keep the children entertained). It was lovely and relaxing sitting in the gardens enjoying the scenery and wine, a really relaxing and very peaceful stay. Sandra (the host) was excellent, super friendly, super helpful and give some interesting history on the Chateux Within walking distance of the Chateux is an amazing bakery(Boulangerie Désobeaux Père et Fils) check the opening times though.

The hostess Sandra was absolutely wonderful, so kind, friendly and helpful, her communication with us was fantastic, everything was spotlessly clean, we loved the pool and being able to book slots for just our family was perfect for us. The grounds of the castle were stunning, everything was beautifully cared for and Sandra gave our son seeds etc to feed her beautiful ducks- they do take food out your hand :-) We didn't actually have a dog with us but the castle was obviously very dog friendly which we loved. Our accomodation was 5* plus, she has thought of all the little things such as having cooking oil, salt/pepper- a lovely mix of different teabags available, all appliances we used were in perfect working order, it was very obvious how much care and thought has been put in to decorating and furbishing this accomodation, everything was just beautiful.. We must say again how clean everything was including the pool area. In the castle gardens there were a choice of beautifully chosen furniture to relax on, my son enjoyed the hammock :-) I liked the comfortable sofas. Parking was 100% secure which was very important to us. And a 5 min near by walk was a lovely little shop with everything you need, with a very helpful lady. The bakery 5mins away was fabulous in the morning and we visited a nearby friendly restaurant (15/20min walk) in the evening, we took the opportunity to view/read the historical boards around the war tank near the restaurant. There is a museum 5 mins away. I can't say enough how much we loved our visit and really hope to stay again soon! The beds where extremely comfortable and beautifully presented on arrival with gorgeous plush cushions. Thanks Sandra for a wonderful end to our holiday!

Imposing building in magnificent grounds.

Our stay at Château de Nacre in Ver-sur-Mer was delightful. The building, immersed in the lush of its park, is simply enchanting. Ms. Sandra was exceptionally kind and responsive: when a shower problem arose, she promptly relocated us to another apartment and graciously offered breakfast as an apology. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The surrounding landscape—with its little pond and resident farmyard animals—created a wonderfully calm, rural feel.

Chateau Cote de Nacre deserves 5 stars. Position in the middle of Normandy, Nature (a huge garden with animals free all around, a lake, a little wood,...and more all in the Chateau perimeter) are really at high level. The apartments are very comfortable, modern and well equipped. Our apartment (Jardin) was clean and elegant. Sandra, the host, is dedicated to the Chateau and also helped us when our son needed medical help. Always available. Tennis table and a private swimming pool...Finally we found the cost very lo compared to other strucutres. As a conclusion, this is the kind of structure which you can suggest to friends and familiars.
