This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. A Family run hotel lead very professionally by Antonello, who runs it seamlessly with an amazing group of staff who made us feel like part of the family from breakfast through to dinner. The hotel is 100% what you would expect if you are seeking an authentic Italian experience. From the beautiful decor, the culture and the delicious freshly cooked, locally sourced Italian food. There is a real effort made to the little attention to detail that makes a stay very special. Slippers in the room, shower caps and other little bits of toiletries in the bathroom that add the feel of a special treatment. In the bar you can see a staff member hand polishing all of the glassware to make them sparkle so that you can enjoy your beverages in sparkling clean glasses. The rooms are pristine, beautifully dressed and very comfortable. The hotel has spacious car parking, a gorgeous terrace with restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a fabulous pool and sun lounge area. There is no need to leave the hotel as all of your holiday needs are catered for- even for children. Nothing is too much for the staff- if you ask for anything they will do their best to accommodate your every need. The whole experience was priceless- we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel like the very first guests to have walked through the door! And… the view! The view is one of the most instagramable, picturesque and amazing vistas because the hotel lies high in the mountains in Ventimiglia meaning you enjoy a stunning view of the Italian, French and Monaco riviera. Take the longer route up the mountain through the town of Ventimiglia and before you know it you could be sitting out on the terrace at night with a glass of wine, a good book and enjoying the glittering lights of San Remo, Ventimiglia, Menton and Monaco below you! It really is a romantic and fairytale setting. Perfect for families, couples or with a group of friends.

Wonderful warm welcome from super friendly staff in an outstandingly stunning location. We were three sisters celebrating a significant birthday and stayed in the family suite which had two separate bedrooms with a wrap around terrace. A thrilling drive up the mountain from Ventimille added to the occasion. We were sorry not to have booked a second night. Would highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

Good hotel for its classification. The trip there i quote challenging though. Very narrow street going up the mountain. But the view of the coast is magnificent.

Our view was exceptional. When you stay at La Fiserva di Castel d'Appio you feel like youi are on top of the world. you travel up and up a small winding road and once there you have reached peace and tranquility. We even hauled a boat on a trailer behing our Passat and we managed it. And we were so happy we did. The manager and owner greeted us in the garden knowing we were running late due to an very bad accident nea Lyon which brought us 4 hours behind schedule. The restaurant was officially closed but they still cooked us two delicious pastas. And of course accompanied by a crisp white italian wine. We were reborn; energy and spirits restored. I could go on and on but best that you visit it yourselves. It seems like it is far from the town but in fact it is only minutes away and offers so much more than you would imagine.
