Location was great. Access directly from canals to hotel but also less than 10 min walk from St Marks. Staff could not have been nicer throughout the hotel. Spa experience was lovely and massage of high standard.

I spent my honeymoon at The Gritti Palace, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. warm, attentive, and truly luxurious. Our room was fantastic: beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a breathtaking view overlooking the canal and the Basilica. It was the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They surprised us with stunning bouquets and a thoughtful honeymoon gift, a gesture we truly appreciated. Everything about this hotel reflects luxury and care. I highly recommend The Gritti Palace to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Venice, whether for a honeymoon or simply to enjoy a remarkable hotel experience. We can’t wait to return! 🌹✨

Good breakfast. Very Friendly staff. Good location - quiet and private. They helped me with my early check-in request. Concierge friendly, but wouldn't say they are overly informed about how to put a proactive itinery together. They did give good choices of restaurants. Thank Goodness for Gemini! :-).

“Not as good as it should have been….”

The hotel was excellent; the service too….. but why, on a Saturday morning in early May, was the outside terrace unavailable for both Dinner (Friday) and Breakfast Saturday; and why, when guest choose to stay at a 5 * expensive hotel in the centre of Venice, do you have contractors at the hotel sanding the terrace at 7.30am on the Saturday, whilst guests have breakfast facing them. This was so, so disappointing - and entirely unexpected

Superb location on the Grand Canal and just a few minutes walk to San Marco. The hotel is incredibly comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Service was impeccable. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay, to our considerable surprise they delivered a beautiful cake to our room.
