“Lovely boutique hotel.”
Great location close enough to walk everywhere but away from the throngs. The garden is lovely, staff helpful. Decor nice throughout the hotel, we had a very small terrace off of our room (26) but it had high walls and no view so we didn’t use it. I’m sure a room at the front would be lovely overlooking the canal! Nice toiletries in the bathroom and very nice robes and slippers. Overall a very pleasant stay but pricey.

Exceptional staff service who are incredibly welcoming, pristine cleanliness and comfortable room. The Hotel has a convenient location walking distance from main attractions and restaurants. Location is very close to the ferry and waterfront.

Gorgeous boutique hotel, very handy for the Zattere vaportetto stops, charming rooms and public spaces with great atmosphere. Excellent wifi and kind, helpful staff. Would definitely be the first choice on a future visit.

“Lovely quiet location.”
Location was absolutely great. We’d stayed closer to San Marco earlier in the week and it was so loud at night but the Excess was lovely and quiet. Was only a short walk into the hustle and bustle. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, a lovely place to have your breakfast and morning coffee. Facilities in the room were great. The gentleman that checked us out was so cheery and helpful, even at 6 o’clock in the morning.
