“Absolute Value for money”

We booked long in advance and the owners kept in contact with us all the time. At date of arrival we were met by a lady who took us to the flat and checked us in. The location is excellent to experience Venice at a fraction of the cost hotels in Venice charge. The view from Guidecca island to the rest of Venice is amazing. It takes only a 5min water taxi to be on St Mark's Square. The absolute bonus is that when you come back later in the afternoon, Guidecca is much quieter than the rest of Venice and you still have perfect views from the bench right opposite the front door. The restaurants on Guidecca were also reasonably priced, with stunning views. This is an AMAZING flat to enjoy your stay in Venice. There is also a supermarket within walking distance.

The apartment has everything that you would need. Location was perfect, it's just one vaporetto stop from the main island. Easy to get to and from. Our host Sara, colleague of Aurora, was very wonderful! She kept in touch with us a few days before our check-in, and helped us check-in on the day itself. She even recommended a few restaurants for us on the island itself.

“Great private hideaway with easy access to the rest of Venice”

This was our second visit to Venice. Giudecca still feels authentic despite the Hilton reopening and the flurry of Americans associated with that. This property does not have a sea view but you exit the property straight onto the waterfront and the vaporetto stop is only a stones throw away. The kitchen and bathroom was great and very clean. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and had great storage. Kitchen essentials such as salt and oil were already there which was immensely helpful for cooking for ourselves. We left some beers to pay it forward. Once in the flat it felt like a private cave and you felt cut off from everything, which I know some people may not like. COOP was a few minutes walk for supplies (for the marathon), as well as great 'local' restaurants that are not too touristy. Sara the host was very patient as it took us a while to reach the property due to transport strikes.

We really loved the location!

The apartment is comfortable and Giudecca is fantastic. You actually get aways from the maddening tourist crowds in the evening, while you still have all the Venetian charm.

Sara was very helpful, house was very clean and tidy and has all the needs you might have. Easy to reach.

“Excellent, spacious room in great location”

Our host met us at the door to let us in on our arrival, she was super friendly and showed us around the flat. It is very spacious and comfortable for our 2-night stay in Venice. Whilst not located on the main island, the ferry service was brilliant. We purchased a 48 hour ferry ticket which cost us €35. The ferry stop was only a 3 minute walk and then the ferry to San Marco only took about 10 minutes and was very frequent.

The apartment is in a very quiet location. Easy access with the boat ferry to the other side in to Venice. Guidecca has some great restaurants literally walking distance from the apartment. Comfortable bed and I see reviews stating there are no curtains. Tip; open the windows and shut the green shutters.
