We used this apartment at the turn of May and June during our visit to Venice. We are very happy to recommend it to those of you who are planning to visit Venice and stay here for a few days. The owners contacted us immediately after paying the reservation, they connected with me via Whatsupp. Further communication took place immediately after our arrival. We were happy to receive instructions on how to best get from the airport directly to the apartment. A very pleasant owner was waiting for us on site, showed us the apartment, wrote down our ID and we paid the city fee of 18 euros for 4 people and 4 days. The apartment is in a quiet part of Venice, so we slept well at night. The apartment is fully equipped, you will find clean and fragrant bed linen, a set of 3 towels per person. Shower gels and shampoo, a hairdryer. A coffee machine for capsules and capsules, several types of tea. The apartment has a fridge with freezer and a washing machine plus laundry detergent. We liked it very much and we will definitely be happy to come back here. Communication with the owners is fast and pleasant. We had no problems. Thank you and see you soon. Katka

Host was personable and helpful, great location in the quieter area but still close enough to walk everywhere. Vaporetto very close as well. The apartment was very clean and plenty of space.

It is simply exceptional. Spacious, wonderfully equipped and in such an incredible location a stone’s throw from the Grand Canal but also a tranquil haven with a private balcony and the use of the garden. Just excellent.

Cute apartment 1 minute from Riva de Biasio ferry stop so super easy drop off if getting a water taxi direct from the airport. Takes about 30 mins to walk to the main sites. It was nice to stay in a less crowded and peaceful part of Venice and there are many nice local restaurants. Very spacious flat and it was nice to have heating as it does get chilly in the evenings in October. Top stay

A nice apartment very close to train station and vaporetto stops. We were met at the property by Laura and her husband, shown all the facilities and given some recommendations for shops, restaurants etc. All the necessary facilities were provided and the apartment was clean and tidy. Despite the heatwave the aircon unit upstairs performed well although downstairs was a bit warmer but a fan was provided here. Kitchen facilities were good. There was a small terrace off the bedroom which was good for evening drinks The location was good with a nearby pretty, well used square with several restaurants and a supermarket. We would certainly stay here again.

This is one of the best apartment I have ever been host before. Laura and Husband and daughter are super nice. Place is very well kept and maintain, with almost everything you need to stay in. They even have toys ready for small kids to be entertained. If there is any rating of max 10 points, I will give them 11 points. Love it.

“Great apartment”

This split-level level apartment could be accessed by stairs or lift. It was near the station and easy to find. It was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you could need. We stayed as 2 couples. The beds were conveniently placed out of view. The bathroom is off the main bedroom, but this wasn't inconvenient. The terrace is bijou but not overlooked. The information left was very useful. We had a lovely time and would stay again. Thank you.

“Not a value for money”

It was close to train station and next to a ferry station. Spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we need. Overlooking a nice garden and a small rooftop balcony.

We were greeted by the son of the owner who not only took the time to check us in but also answered all and any questions we had about the neighbourhood.

Location - Perfectly positioned for the Vaparetto. Local area is mostly Venetian with few tourists. Thats a blessing. Its a busy(ish) area ( but nothing compared to the tourist hotspots) and its an absolute joy to breakfast or relax on a lazy warm afternoon in the square as the local kids kick a ball around, run round with scooters, parents chat and chill on benches, church bells ring and life goes on around you. Its idylic ( probably a bit OTT but in a romantic moment thats how it felt ) and such an antidote to the crush of Rialto and St Marks. Apartment - the photos don't do it justice. Its warm and inviting. Not traditionally Venitian in decoration ( to our eyes ) but thats one reason we decided against the many red and gold hotel rooms. Plus we've got the same Ikea furniture so it felt homely. We actually spent most of our time out but theres a lovely garden and small roof terrace. Its on the third floor, accessible by lift or stairs. For the two of us there was plenty of room and I think 4 would be fine. There's no TV or radio. Theres wifi Laura is lovely and made us feel very welcome with a botle of (good DOCG) Prosecco, maps and information about all the local bars, restaurants, shops etc.. Thats more than we expected. Venice 1/ Get a shared water taxi from the airport and ask to be dropped at St Marks. By water is the only way to be introduced to Venice, especially if its sunny or foggy, and you want to see the southern approach to the Grand Canal. You can then get a 1 to Riva de Biasio. 2/ get the multiday Vaporetto passes. We got a 7 day with one return trip on the bus to the airport. We more than got our monies worth and knowing we could always get home, no matter the time of day or night, gave us freedom and peace of mind. 3/ Embrace getting lost. I'd researched a long list of places to see. We got to one (Al Timon - the steak platter!) but we found so many great places accidentally. Usually while lost.

“Superb”

The apartment was spacious, with lots of light and very nice views over gardens, very pleasant organization, and private. The building has a beautiful garden and is clearly very well cared for, and there is an elevator which was much appreciated. We also very much appreciated having a terrace though it was very small. The location is fantastic: quiet little street just off the grand canal, very lose to a vaporetto stop and the bus/train station, and the neighborhood is so nice to walk around, not too busy, with very good restaurants. Excellent suggestions from our host for restaurants as well as getting around! Also very nice to have the option to store our luggage safely in the premises after checking out. All in all, we had a wonderful stay.

“A beautiful little apartment in Central Venice.”

The location is absolutely perfect. Just step out the door and you are on the Grand Canal. The host was lovely and key pick up was easy. The apartment is bright and airy and worked well for our little family.
