Opened in 1308, Albergo Cavalletto & Doge Orseolo is one of the oldest hotels in Venice. It is set right behind St. Mark's Square, and features elegant rooms and a private pier. All rooms of Albergo Cavalletto are classically furnished in Venetian style and come with satellite TV and minibar. Some rooms offer charming views of the gondolas in the Orseolo Basin. “Great hotel in excellent location.”
Fantastic location just off St Mark's Square. The room and ensuite were very clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our breakfast which had plenty of choice/options.

Great location, near the airport but also close enough to Dennis you can just get the tram in if you wish. Only stayed one night but enjoyed limited time we were there ... host Katia met us at check in and recommendations for restaurants, pastry shop etc , vert helpful!

The location was amazing.Only 50m from San Marco Square.Really good breakfast.They offered a variety of food.Our room had a balcony,so we were able to enjoy the view.There are gondolas right in front of the hotel.

Absolutely brilliant facility..just round the corner from St Mark's Square. Rooms clean. Own gondola station. Hard Rock cafe and all pristine high street outlets are in vicinity. Unbelievable location 👏
