“Lido is a dream to enjoy”

The location is amazing and worth it - quiet, green and idyllic, and the ferry very convenient. The breakfast in the morning was a wonderful start to the day.

Everything was perfect. If there were a rating higher than 10, I would give it. You could only wish for hosts like Alessandra and Stefano. They were incredibly friendly and helpful from beginning to end. Even though we arrived quite late, they personally picked us up from the ferry and drove us back again when we left. The location of the magnificent villa—half a palace—right on the beach is unbeatable. Our apartment also left nothing to be desired. It was huge—more than enough for the five of us. And otherwise, nothing was missing. We were completely satisfied.

“varied visit to the lagoon city”

We had a pleasant stay at Villa Gabriella. I can recommend the island Lido as a good "base camp" for visit of Venice and its surrounding. The transfer by boat is regular and offers the possibility for other views of Venice and fast trips to other islands. There are a number of restaurants around the docks for lunch or dinner and the villa can be reached by bus or on foot. We enjoyed especially both the spectacular 360° view from top of the villa of the Adriatic Sea, Venice and the mountains beyond, and a nice evening walk along the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Gabriella a lot. The apartment is big, clean, well equipped and nicely decorated (Venetian villa style) with beautiful paintings. It's very close to the beach and a bus stop. We particularly appreciate the warm welcome of the host that came to pick us up at the vaporetto station. Ideal place for families.

Beautiful traditional Venice Villa, managed by owner occupiers who are friendly, responsive and supportive. The Villa has a great family atmosphere and is located fairly centrally in the Venice Lido within a 15 minute walk of a shopping and restaurant area.

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful building with such pleasant and interesting hosts. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was bright and spacious, the fridge, kettle etc. were homely and access to the roof terrace was a very special opportunity; we enjoyed the 360 degree view and a peaceful, private sunset. The proximity of the beach for a quick swim at the end of the day was also great, as was the garden area and secure bike parking. The breakfasts were large, freshly made and delicious, and we enjoyed meeting our hosts and their sweet-natured golden retriever. It would have been interesting to hear more about Gabriella's archaeobotany work and Andreas's experience of growing up on Lido. The neighbourhood was quiet, clean and leafy with other attractive buildings, though none seemed as distinctive as this one. It was a short and pleasant walk to streets with bars, restaurants, gelaterias and the SME vaporetto stop.

“Wonderful place to stay”

Couldn't have chosen a better place - interesting building, comfortable room, fabulous breakfast and Stefano and Gabriella were really helpful.

We had a lovely stay! The breakfast was good, although a bit on the simple side. However, the warm and cozy atmosphere more than made up for it. The highlight was definitely the view from the terrace, which was simply breathtaking. Stefano was a fantastic host, providing great tips on how to navigate Venice and use the transport system. It was the perfect place for a quick getaway, allowing us to make the most of our short time in the city.
