The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained, and the villa itself was absolutely stunning. This was the best accommodation of our entire trip through Italy. The owner was exceptional and shared many fascinating insights about the history of Lido and Venice, which made our stay even more special. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality!

Our host, Sven was very accommodating and provided us with lots of information and tips for the area. The room was clean and breakfast was tasty.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Contarini B&B on Lido.Everything was just perfect:from the location to the room itself.The bathroom in particular,truly charmed me with its style and comfort.The garden was a peaceful retreat and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming.It felt cozy,calm and truly cared for.Thank you for such a warm and memorable stay!

Villa Contarini is a newly renovated and refurbished Venetian Villa to the highest standards with great professionality and historical charm. The en-suite room is very nice with an extremely comfortable bed and high quality bedding. The air-conditioning is very efficient. It is a huge value that you have access to the garden. The breakfast was served there and you can enjoy al-fresco dining during the day. The Villa is 10 min. walk from the vaporetto station or 2 min, walk from the bus. It is very conveniently located. The breakfast was very generous and was beyond the usual Italian style. It included not only sweet pastries but ham, cheese, fruits, nuts, joghurt, juices, coffee and tea. Michaela and Svet are excellent hosts and their guidance on history, art and architecture in Venice islands are truly valuable and should not be missed. They did all their efforts to accommodate my request and assure that I had a pleasant stay. A great thank you to make me feel at home in Villa Contarini.

The house is very charming and well taken care of. For me, this was the first time staying at a B&B and I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful host, Sven and had lovely conversations with him and other guests over breakfast. The highlight for me was that every morning I would wake up to the smell of freshly baked croissants. So I would always start the day with a smile! Highly recommend Villa Contarini, especially if you prefer a calm and cute spot from which to explore the beautiful Venezia, which is just one short vaporetto trip away!

Sven was a helpful host, B&B 10 minute walk to the waterboats. Nice bars and restaurants close by. Breakfast was tasty, check in/check out easy. Room was comfy and clean.

Sven was a great host. Breakfast was plentiful. The bedroom was comfortable. The in-room bathroom was very nice. The location was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. It has free street parking just outside the walls of the property. The beach is not too far away.

“Upmarket B&B, luxury feeling throughout our stay!”

Very good location. Easy commute to and from Venice. Center of Lido has some nice restaurants and a good atmosphere, without being overly crowded. The owner of the B&B gave us some good tips and we had amazing fish dishes. Nice to relax in the evening. The B&B is in a very nice historic building, fully renovated. The room was more than spacious enough, had 2 balconies and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room. This place feels very upmarket and is worth its price. We would happily go back.
