Overview
Ausonia Hungaria is set in a building 250 metres from the beach and 5 minutes’ walk from the Vaporetto water bus stop. Modern rooms come with a flat-screen satellite TV. “Good but awful breakfast service”
This was the only issue. We must’ve waited for 50 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast. We had to ask several times. It was very poor service.

“perfect hotel in the perfect location”
Amazing hotel, stunning exterior and a classy modern internal design. We stayed 3 nights with breakfast included. We recieved a warm welcome around midnight after a delayed flight and found the staff to be available for anything we needed during our stay. Ivan was a particularly stand out, checking we were satisfied, answering questions and he helped plan our day at the beach club 'Des Bains'. Breakfast was exceptional, the pool area a real treat with cocktails and snacks served throughout the day. A must-try is the honey mustard chutney served with the cheese selection. Lido itself is a perfect in between , take a bike ride to the light house, a walk through the stunning streets along the canal or spend time at the beach. Later on, there are bars which are lively too. Venice itself is a 10-15min boat trip, master the routes and you'll see more during your stay. We would stay at the hotel again whithout doubt.
