The property is located right in the city centre. The location is perfect. Despite the very central location, the property is simply an idyllic place. It has a wonderful, private, and green garden where the rush of the city is neither felt nor heard. The room on the second floor was very clean, beautifully furnished and equipped with everyting that one may need. It must be noted that the property and its rooms are not comparable to a luxury, brand new hotel. However, this place has a unique, authentic, and atmospheric vibe. This place is merely to be enjoyed. Breakfast was a regular but delicious French breakfast. Even for me who prefers continental breakfast, it was sufficient and delicious. If the morning is warm enough with sun high in the sky, I’d suggest to have breakfast in the garden. That’s a must have. A wonderful experience. If you come by car, it might be difficult to find a nearby parking as it usually is with central locations in old towns of historic cities. But don’t worry, the hosts will give you good suggestions prior your arrival. The last but not the least, the hosts are just wonderful. They are very welcoming, great personalities who love what they do and want to make their guests comfortable. Don’t miss this property. Otherwise, you might be unhappy with your regular hote.

Without exaggerating, we can honestly say that staying 2 nights at this lovely B&B was a real highlight of our trip to Vence, a charming village close to St. Paul de Vence on the French Riviera. The Jardin D'Elma is tucked into a small side street within a few steps of the entrance to the old town. We arrived the day of Halloween and the town was buzzing with families in costume celebrating on the nearby garden square. Our wonderful hosts, Laurence (a female name in France) and Eric, were extremely kind and caring in every way. We felt like guests in their lovely home, which includes a small indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking the hills surrounding Vence and seeing the glittery towns of Nice and Cannes in the distance. If you chose to stay here and travel by car as we did, please note that there are 3 parking lots in walking distance from the B&B. It is also possible to stop and drop off your bags before going to the parking lot. In addition to the excellent breakfast offered by Laurence and Eric (French breads, fruit, crepes, fresh OJ, etc.), the table is surrounded by a library of excellent books (mostly in French). For a real treat ask Laurence for tea and see her unusual tea pot. Enjoy your stay at the Jardin D'Élma, Norm and Marion
