“A nice place but more attention to detail needed. A 3 star stay not 4 star.”
The location was great and our appartment was clean.. The reception staff were brilliant and we really liked the ability to order breakfast items to collect each morning. On arrival we ordered the full breakfast (which was beyond what we expected with pain au chocolates, croissants, a small baguette, fruit juice, yoghurt, milk and a whole pack of fresh coffee) and then selected to just have the croissants and baguette for the other days.

“A lovely location rather spoiled by maintenance issues. Helpful staff clearly doing what they can.”
The appartment complex is in a beautiful setting and appartments are good - but there are problems with maintenance. The grounds and the pool not well maintained - pool had broken lights - basically large lights sitting on side of pool with wires - quite disconcerting. Grounds not particularly clean or well kept with broken slabs, fountain, etc. the cafe was not open in peak season - so advertising is misleading in this respect.

Self-service hotel outside Vence. If you have no trouble fixing things by yourself this is the place for you. A great place to have as a homebase when going on trips to different locations on the French riviera. The pool is great and warm. The as surroundings great and the views from the hotel awesome. You do need a car as it is a 10 min drive to the closest supermarket. The closest villages are supercute and offer a lot of options for dinner. We loved the place and already want to come back.
