“Terrible experience, an absolute ripoff and no value for money.”

The property is worn out and clearly has not been maintained. There were exposed wires, broken kitchen appliances, locked cabinets and wardrobes, broken slides and swings. The property has a massive drop and a steep staircase, which is not safe for small children. The images of the property are not reflecting these, which immediately makes them misleading for people like us who wanted to have a nice holiday for the entire family, including small children. The barbecue was extremely dirty and broken. We were advised not to use it, and what is alfresco dining without a barbecue!? We were told on the spot that we must take care of a bunch of cats that were inhabiting the garden. To add insult to injury, few of these cats were visibly ill, with scabs and wounds. Last but not least one of the cats gave birth to 6 kittens and when reporting the to the landlady she said that she’ll take them to the vets when she collects the keys upon checkout. There were massive cockroaches in the house, on the ground floor. Majority of fly screens were torn and we ended up with massive mosquito bites. We ended up paying a massive bunch of bills for gas and electricity, where initial and final meter readings were kept secret (we were just given a final number to pay and did not witness the initial and final meter readings). The pool was not heated so the water was quite cold even on sunny days. Overall we had a terrible experience and paid a dear price. Not to mention that we felt mostly like house sitters than holidaymakers. More importantly we did not have the opportunity to provide the experience we had in mind to our small children - the swings were broken, we had to guard them at all times because of the massive drop which is cleverly hidden in the pictures of the property, the swings and slide were broken and the water in the pool was quite cold even for the adults. Also there was a whole lot of rotting/outdated food left in the cupboards we had access to.

“Close to the heart of Rome ... in a country side Villa”

The land lord, Giovanni, is a very friendly person, very open to accommodate any needs of the customer. The Villa is super, very clean and spacious. The location is also very strategic ... 35 mins driving to the sea side and 1 hour train to Rome ... plus very close to the Castelli Romani Area. We were in 12 persons (3 families) and we have really enjoyed the house ... of course, the best part of the Villa is the outside garden, with a lots of space and a great swimming pool. Giovanni was very focused during our stay in making sure that everything was running perfectly. So, Grazie Giovanni!

“Lovely stay in Velletri”

Big, stunning villa, very comfortable beds, lovely and clean pool. The host was really responsive, quickly replied to all our messages and kindly ordered taxis for us each time as the taxi drivers in Velletri don't speak English. He also picked us up and then drop us off the last day which was very appreciated. The host invested a lot to automate the villa and make it comfortable, his diesel generator that helped during the storm and power cut.
