Overview
The historic Margretetorps Gästgifvaregård is located by Hallandsåsen mountain ridge, a 10-minute drive from Ängelholm city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, free sauna access and rooms with a private entrance. All rooms in the half-timbered building have exposed wooden ceiling beams. Guest rooms feature specially designed French furniture in cherry wood. Each room has a seating area and cable TV. A wooden terrace with seating area is located in the garden of the inn. “Exceptional setting and service!”
The setting The setting of this resort is absolutely everything—it is incredibly beautiful and serene. The service is top-notch; the staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This was our second time staying here, and we’ve tried two different room types across our visits. Both were equally charming, comfortable, and well-maintained. It’s consistently high-quality! We love this place and will definitely be back, but we'll pack a cooler next time!

Charming place with cosy rooms and bar area. The restaurant was good as well. We have stayed there a few times with our dogs and will be going back again.

“Perfect to calm down and relax”
Staff was trying their best to make our days there exceptional. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Delicious restaurant. Wonderful walkways through forest nearby.

“Absolutely beautiful”
The entire place was such a vibe. The rooms were beautiful and surprisingly well equipped, but the entire hotel and garden was extremely well maintained and truly beautiful. From everywhere (our room, the restaurant, the lobby) you could peek into the garden which could have been a painting. Lush and green, a big variety of pretty flowers, all trimmed and maintained to perfection. Everyone was super friendly to us, even though we looked a bit out of place when we arrived (we were camping and arrived in shoddy clothes, yet everyone walked around in long pants and ironed shirts - oops). The restaurant was also amazing. We expected good food but it was truly a fine dining evening.

Wow, that was an amazing experience, the staff so kind and friendly, the atmosphere and location just outstanding, if you ask for peaceful nights sleep and pleasant experience this place ticks all the boxes. Room very clean and to a high quality standard, very comfortable bed, it was just awesome stay over weekend. The breakfast buffet - delicious and fresh, just wow🤩. I will definitely be looking forward to returning in the near future.

You need to book a restaurant in advance, because when you arrive, everything is already full. There are a lot of people at the hotel because it's a wonderful hotel. Everything is great.

Lovely clean and spacious hotel with access to the sauna. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff really good. Super place to store our bicycles.
