I visited Salnēni together with my dog and we really enjoyed our stay there! The hostess Linda and the other host (her friendly dog Viljams) takes really good care of their guests! Linda made sure I know all of the necessary details about the home before going there and during the stay. She also provided me with local tourist spots and was always reachable if i had any questions. I enjoyed not only the lovely home, but also the sauna and the hut tub. Salnēni is a bit far from Riga, but the stillness and calmness totally outweighs it and also - the best places are always further away! The place definitely has its charm in all seasons. We will come again, no doubt.

Phenomenal place. The host was extremely attentive and made the stay cozy and welcoming. When the snow fell, it truly felt like a winter fairytale. You can go for a walk in the forest and then come back to relax in the hot tub or sit by the fireplace. To sum it up, a fantastic experience. P.S. It is a dog-friendly place, and you may be greeted by Viliam, who loves cuddles. 🫶

Everything one can possibly need was provided. Wide selection of shampoos and soaps, even toothbrushes and cotton pads. Kitchen has all the utensils and pots and pans. Plenty of towels and sauna hats. Pets are also welcome. Beautiful surroundings. Everything is better than the pictures show. I highly recommend the sauna and the hot tub. Worth every penny.

Everything was wonderful! The cottage is perfectly located, quiet, and has everything you need both inside and outside. The hostess was very attentive and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious! And absolutely dog-friendly :)

An absolute pleasure to stay in Salnēni again. Undoubtedly our favourite tiny house in Latvia. Superb host that considered every detail to ensure guests feel welcomed and pampered. Can’t recommend enough!

We had a lovely time in Salnèni. Communication with the owner was very easy. We had everything we needed for our stay, nice touch was complimentary bottle of wine :) Certainly will come back again!

Perfect place for a getaway, can enjoy peace and quiet while sipping coffee on terrace or starry sky while sitting in hot tub. House is very comfortable, has everything you might think of and even more. Everything is planned till the smallest detailed, which makes it even more cozy. Hostes is very warm, caring and welcoming. Super pleasently stay! Highly recommend. 💚

Although the house is small, it has everything you would need for both shorter or longer stay. We stayed there before Christmas and the house was decorated, we had Christmas theme cups, slippers and bed linens. The host makes you feel very, very welcomed.

“Countryside treasure”

Beautiful little cottage with spacious terrace in deep countryside.Huge panoramic windows give terrific views and observation platform to watch wild life. Family with kids friendly. Elegantly crafted bathroom with hand picked cosmetics to try (selection better than in 5 star hotels).As we were during Christmas time Xmassy decorations, plants, red cups and gingle shoes were placed in the cottage. It was very thoutful of the hostess. Commubication was easy.Wifi was reliable. Safe parking by the cottage.Outdoor hot tab was available for extra charge. Ee will definetely come back in other season to enjoy it again.Thank you so much for this treasure and compliments to top standards.

My second stay in this property - the same as last year- everything was excellent and to the highest standards. Place is very clean and tidy. The host is very considerate and provided all the necessary things to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This tiny house is located in a picturesque countryside, has very calming atmosphere and deep connection to nature. It was amazing to have a very relaxing hot tub experience under clear sky and marvellous stars. Highly recommended!

Great place. Quiet, tidy, excellent for enjoying the countryside view with comfort. Kind host. Our four-legged friend also really enjoyed the compliment provided by the hostess. Everything has been thought of! You can imagine anything that should be in such a cottage, and it will be here. Wanna play board games? There you go! Fresh herbal tea straight from the meadow, coffee or chocolate drink in the morning? There you go. We also enjoyed the hot tube right behind the cottage. There is pond and sauna near it too. Thanks, it was a pleasure to stay there!
