“The pitons meet Halong bay! Absolutely beautiful scenery and a great place to stay!”

Thought the cabins were spotlessly clean and so comfortable and air conditioned. Lovely showers. Enjoyed the bar and restaurant and sunbeds by the river. The sun loungers and parasol are half price for guests (€10) The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful! Loved the campfires and the beach area

“Disconnect and Experience Albania’s Beauty”

Wonderful place to disconnect and experience the beauty of Shala River. Hosts/Staff were great and extremely hospitable - cannot fault the service. The room was also comfortable and spacious. Our Host also suggested an incredible hike. I would advise staying two nights to maximise your stay. We Kayaked, Hiked, Zip Line and best of all Swam in Shala River. Possibly my favourite stop in Albania.

What a stunning place! Thank you to George and his Wife / family / staff for looking after us. We had the best stay, they couldn’t do enough for us. Very friendly. Our villa was very clean, modern and cosy. We wish we had stayed longer. The food was delicious. Beautiful scenery. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Villa’s Gio was such a beautiful stay. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We were lucky enough to get a Villa with a view of the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even carrying my very heavy suitcase up multiple sets of stairs (sorry to that poor man). They made us a delicious, fresh Albanian style breakfast the next morning and were helpful in organising our return travel from Shkoder and then down to Tirana.

The staff were so friendly. I highly recommend booking your transfers through Villa´s Gio, as the boat is much quieter than the standard transport which looked very busy. Georgio and the other staff were super friendly and made everything easy for us. They recommend good walks and activities and helped us with anything and everything! The food at their restaurant is also very tasty. We recommend the Tave Dheu and chicken risotto, but I’m sure it’s all yummy. We only stayed for one night which we thought worked very well as it meant we didn’t have to commute all the way from shkoder and back in the same day like a lot of the people on day trips. Also, in the evening after everyone on day trips has left it is very peaceful.

Location

The cabins themselves are new, clean and comfortable. And in a nice location overlooking the trees. How ever I would only recommend staying here for one night as there is only a couple of restaurants in the area and they are not very good.

Was very clean and we felt really comfortable staying there. Breakfast included was great and great little restaurant area below to have a drink in the arvo. We would definitely come back and stay if we come back to the Shala River

This place was a great spot, right in the centre of the Shala River area. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating and the rooms were perfect for our group. Was a great relaxing time down by the river! Would highly recommend.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the food. We’re happy we stayed here rather than Konami as you can walk about and explore the Shala area without having to get a boat to go to other places. Comfortable beds and cosy cabins. Thank you!

“Relaxing stay in a beautiful area”

The beds were comfortable, the rooms are new, spacious and have a cozy vibe. The aircon works well, the windows open fully to let in fresh air. Theres plenty of room for storage in the room. Being up on a hill was nice as it felt secluded from the rest of the guesthouses. Once you book they will arrange all transport for you from Shkoder (2 hour bus: Shkoder - Koman, 1 hour boat: Koman- Shala River)
