Stadshotellet is set in an elegant Art Nouveau building on Stor Torget square, 10 minutes’ walk from Västerås Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, stylish rooms and an English-style gastro pub. “Stylish and welcome hotel”
A beautiful hotel. A warm welcome. Staff were very helpful to our friend whose hotel booking elsewhere had gone wrong. Very comfortable rooms, lovely bathroom, lovely linen. Breakfast was excellent.

“Lovely winter stay”
Good location, close to shops and restaurants and in walking distance of the city hall, train/bus station, old town etc. Helpful friendly staff. Nice pub on site a bonus. Decent breakfast options even for a vegan(!). Clean. Looked visually appealing and cosy. Good room temp and facilities. We had a lovely view of the church too.

“Nice place with a bit of extra”
I think they did that extra mile. It was raining cats and dogs and they had umbrella for free to borrow. They also have a pillow menu and that was great. Nice breakfast with lots of options and friendly receptionist.
