Located in Varmahlíd in north Iceland, this hotel is just off the scenic Ring Road. Right on the Ring Rd, so very convenient. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Front desk staff very helpful. The breakfast included was excellent. We also ate dinner there which was also excellent.

“Good value”
Comfortable little three storey hotel. Good value. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Of note: there is a small restaurant at the hotel that does not show up on Google maps. It has a small menu of Icelandic items - handy if you're getting in late. Small bar with a good selection of bottled beer.

Location on route back to Reykjavik. Late check in wasn’t a problem. Basic but pretty good breakfast.

“Ok for a night”
We spend one night in the hotel and it was ok for a night. The room was clean, a kettle for tea was provided. The hotel was close to the bus station, thus, easy to find and reach.

The whole room spacious with really good beds and very good shower. The coffe and breakfast was very nice and the service was good. We called in because of late check in and it was no problem.
