“Calm, Nature, and a Wish for More Time”

A peaceful retreat where the world feels quieter. Surrounded by nature and the gentle presence of horses, it’s an ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy calm walks outdoors. Still, it’s just a short distance to the local center with shops and restaurants. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the overall experience was excellent. I even extended my stay, and honestly, I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

“Beautiful place and fantastic hospitality”

We stayed in this lovely little rental house for three weeks in December 2025 and were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the hospitality. The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to feel at home for a longer stay. Everything worked well, and the space was comfortable and practical. The hosts were especially wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, while still fully respecting our privacy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to return ourselves

“Great farm cottage near lake”

This is an exceptional cottage in a farm near lake. Location is idyllic, cottage is wonderful (can accommodate a family with two kids), and everything is just right. The bonus is that there is a horse stable nearby, so one can enjoy an encounter with animals as well. Very nice hosts, one cannot wish a better Swedish holiday place. Wonderful!

“Super good place for a short stay 😊”

Very smooth check in and easy to get there, once you will arrive there you will see the horses which was a very nice welcome, the house is super clean and with all accessories, everything is very clean and in 5 minutes of walk you will see the breathtaking views pf lake where you can make BBQ and even swim.

“Short summer stay”

The host was very nice, and check in/out was easy. The cabin was equipped very thoughtfully with most necessary items, including safety items such as a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had excellent water temperature and pressure. The area was generally nice.

Secluded farm house near the lake. Comfortable and quiet. Horses, rabbits and birds, with a friendly dog too!

“Clean and fully equipped cottage in walking distance to lake Vänern”

Very nice host. Quiet surroundings, on a horse farm, right next to lake Vänern (~500 m by foot). Fully equipped with a bathroom, a kitchen and a double bed. Free Wi-fi works well. TV didn't work. As it's very close to nature there might be some critters around, which is almost impossible to prevent. I had to throw out a bug and a spider. Apart from that the whole place was super clean. Highly recommended!

A great place to stay - everything you need. A short walk to the lake for a lovely swim. And fortunate to see an elk with two young.
