Very quiet for a location near the city centre. I slept with the window open. The kitchenette was very useful with a medium size refrigerator and well equipped. Everything seemed brand new. Cosy room and a bit of old world atmosphere.

Apartment hotel in in charming old building close to train station. Very cozy and clean. Well equipped kitchenette, everything looks fresh despite the age of the house. We got room on the third floor with a view towards the sea. Big TV let us enjoy Eurovision final. Very clear instructions about the check in, quick response to questions by booking.com system.

Rooms were decorated beautifully and to our liking. I prefer a firmer mattress but I slept well enough. There was a lovely little kitchenette, with a microwave, coffee machine, 2 ring plug in hob, fridge with freezer compartment, sink and utensils, cutlery and coffee filters. You could buy and have your own breakfast/meals if you wished. We paid and had the breakfast which was a continental style. I thought it would be a help yourself type affair but I think the numbers were too low for this. We got yogurt with granola and berries/jam on top. Followed by a plate with salami, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, radish and picked cucumber. There were 2 types of bread, butter, cream cheese and marmalade. Coffee or tea and fresh orange juice. A little dish of hot freshly made very creamy scrambled egg. We were very happy with our breakfast. The reception opened for a couple of hours a day when most guests were checking in. Checking out was simple, you just posted your key into a box and then left. The hotel had no parking but you could drop off your luggage and then move your car to a free car park 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We have already booked for next year. The hotel is hoping to get an alcohol license too. It is a simple hotel/apart hotel with few staff. Your room is not cleaned unless you stay a whole week. There is a courtyard garden to sit out in if the weather is nice. To get in there was a key code. All very simple and easy.

It was crazy close to the train station, which is very convenient, yet it wasn’t loud to bother us at all. Everything was very clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

Hotell Blanka is located very centrally, with close access both to the waterfront and the main part of town. The rooms are tastefully decorated and with comfortable furniture. The owners/managers are very friendly and responsive. In our case, there was a misunderstanding with the room and the owners/managers ensured that everything was resolved to our satisfaction, going above what can be demanded or expected.
