Overview
Located on the banks of the Nam Song River, Riverside Boutique Resort, Vang Vieng features elegant French colonial architecture and a stylish ethnic decor. Guests can relax by the pool or enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from Bolaven Plateau at the restaurant. Riverside Boutique Resort is 3-hr drive from Vientiane. It is 5-hr drive from Luang Prabang. “Amazing - 11/10!”
From the welcome hibiscus juice to the activity bookings (air balloon, blue lagoon 1,3, Nam Xay), everything was absolutely perfect — 10/10! The property is beautiful, the breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff are outstanding. They are professional, attentive, kind, and always ready to help. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel staff I have encountered in Laos, regardless of the city. The resort is beautifully landscaped with plenty of flowers, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The views are stunning as well. The rooms are spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable, and having a bathtub was a wonderful bonus! I don’t even need to stay at all the other hotels in Vang Vieng to know that this is one of the very best, if not the best, in town. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable! We really felt like VIP’s!

A beautiful haven of tranquillity on the banks of the river and in walking distance of town. Beautiful rooms, a lovely pool and helpful staff who organised cars, trips and were always on hand. All in a lovely trip.

“lovely oasis with perfect location”
Lovely resort in a perfect location close to town, by a river and in view of the fabulous mountains nearby. A real oasis and great place to come back to after a day out. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Pool was refreshing. Breakfast was excellent, probably the best we've had in our travels in Vietnam and Laos to date. Highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the pool area was beautiful. We had a lovely big room that had daybeds on the balcony. The bar had excellent sunset drinks and nibbles...
