“A brilliant stay”
We ended up extending to spend 8 nights at Pan's Place as we enjoyed it so much! The rooms are basic but just as described, the owners are very friendly and helpful and the hostel has a really nice vibe to it. The location is very good, near the night market and river, and next to some good restaurants. I'd highly recommend staying here to any traveller on a budget!

The location is quite convenient, only a 5min away from the bus stop. And they offer me to rent a motorcycle for 100K per day.

“Disgusting, avoid! Thousands of ants”
Disgusting stay, had to leave even before we stayed a night as our private bathroom has thousands of ants and I mean THOUSANDS, I’ve never seen so many ants in my life. The reception man then said I can spray and get rid of them, what’s some spray going to do when the bathroom was covered in them. Thankfully got 95% of money back

Literally right on the main street. Big room. Very helpful and responsive taff, they booked my bus ticket for me to got back to Vientianne. Hot showers in the cold Vang Vieng weather.

Highly recommend and it was so so so affordable - ideal location and if you stay here you should try out the restaurant across the street too! We stayed in a private room and it was comfy, quiet and probably had the best hot shower we’ve had on our travels :)

“For the budget conscious, this place goes above & beyond.”
Perfect for a budget traveller. Rooms are clean, air con works, wi fi is strong and its location is very central for everything. For the amount you pay you get that and more but bear in mind it is for budget travellers and “no frills.” Laundry service available too at cheapest rate around.

“It's ok”
It was ok. We booked without AC and it was fine but the room and bathroom was dirty. Also a lot of cockroaches. The staff wasen't always there. The staff was friendly and the location was perfekt. Opposite is a very good restaurant.

Good location, friendly staff, free pool table, nice coffee shop, accommodated well with extended stay, nice outdoor area. Rooms and bathrooms basic but clean. Cute dog :)
