The room was very clean and appeared to be recently refurbished. The common sitting room was very pleasant, especially the fireplace, and the breakfast basket was a thoughtful touch and very nice.

Tasteful and cozy guesthouse at a perfect location. Our room was always warm, the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast basket had everything we needed. Also the staff was very helpful. Panagiotis was always ready to suggest things to do and answer questions about the area. Highly recommended!!

“Nice quiet place to stay, perfect for relaxing.”
Really nice and comfortable place which we randomly found as we were driving around Greece, this place is a little gem in the heart of a small town. The decor is contemporary and very high quality. We could only stay one night and didn’t use the TV however the WIFI was absolutely fine and facilities such as showers worked really well. The weather here, as it is up in the mountains was slightly cooler which was a welcomed respite. The owners are really lovely and friendly too. The breakfasts are very generous and kept us going all day. We had the pleasure of hearing a live concert in the town square on the night we stayed which was a pleasant surprise and enabled us to immerse ourselves in the wonderful Greek culture.

“Perfectly green”
We had a warm welcome and every time we interacted with the staff, they were friendly, polite and helpful. There were only fir trees in front of our balcony and a beautiful view of the village on the side. Just a few metres from the main square with plenty of options for walking or jogging. The room was spotless; we felt as if we were the first guests. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

A really nice place to stay. Like many villages in the Peloponnese, Vamvakou has suffered from depopulation. But here, a project is underway to restore this remote mountain village and the guesthouse is a good example of what has been achieved. It's an attractive hotel/hostel and community centre. It's comfortable and quiet. The manager is very friendly and helpful. I arrived on foot from walking the E4 Peloponnese Way, and she arranged for a taxi to take me to Mystras. It's a beautiful village and I would love to return one day.

Very quiet location, room was clean and fine. Nice view from the balcony. Very important to arrive with your own food. There is only one restaurant there and we arrived at 17:30 and they told us it was closing.

A special travel destination, especially for people who love nature, avoiding crowds and enjoy hiking. Above all, the particularly worthy effort made for the Revival of Vamvakou deserves congratulations! People give their best! I would like to see the village again in spring or summer, I think it will be beautiful!

A very nice guesthouse, in the centre of the village, in the hart of mount Parnonas. The rooms are clean and confy. Very good breakfast. Excellent WiFi, although they state that there isn't any.

“charming isolated one off - tranquil mountain village guest house”
Tastefully restored guesthouse in tranquil mountain location. Warm, modern room with balcony, excellent shower, good wifi and big comfortable bed. Fluent English speaking manager with idealistic commitment to reviving the village. Local goats cheese and organic honey. 20km of well-marked hiking trails - more for mountain bikers. Cool crisp mountain air.
