The location is absolutely ideal, situated just a short walking distance to to ski bus station. The rooms are beautifully designed in a traditional Alpine style, combining wood and stone to create a warm, cozy, and authentic mountain atmosphere. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast each morning was exceptional, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, including fresh homemade cakes and local specialties. It really set the tone for the day. What truly makes this place outstanding, however, is the incredible hospitality of the owners. The family goes above and beyond to make your stay special. They provided us with detailed information about the ski areas, suggested alternative resorts for skiing, and even helped arrange restaurant reservations. Their knowledge of the region and genuine care for their guests made a huge difference in our trip. The atmosphere feels more like staying with friends than at a hotel—warm, welcoming, and personal. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely return since it was a perfect 10/10 experience

The accommodation is right in the centre of the village. The rooms are very tidy, spacious and have a charming country-style atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious and put together with love by Paola. In the background Fabio is making artisan ice-cream. You can talk to the landlords and get a feel for the area and its people. Fabio is passionate about Valtournenche and its mountains. He knows a lot about the area and both Paola and Fabio give you lots of walking and hiking tips. In addition, the couple showed extreme helpfulness when we lost our car key while walking on a far-away mountain. Thank you again for your support!!!

Breakfast was really good (specially omelette and tiramisu and crossaints), the location was great (only 1,5 km from ski lift, about 100 meters from ski bus station and about 300 meters from popular pizza places), hospitality of the hosts was excellent (got all the necessary information from them). Additionally, good value for money.

Room was spectacular with a mountain charm and nice balcony with impressive view to the fabulous mountains and super clean place. L'Ancien Paquier is a great small B&B run by Paola and Fabio who are fabulous hosts. Breakfast was superb and the room clean and cosy with relatively big bathroom.

Perfectly located in the center of Valtournenche, from where you can directly leave for a fantastic day hike without moving the car, the B&B is very clean and the family room for 4 is really nice. The owners are extremely helpful with hints about hikes and restaurants, and the added bonus is their home-made ice cream shop on the ground floor, perfect for a delicious snack when you come back from a long walk. The breakfast is just spectacular, with a large choice of home made pastries, regional cheese, fruit salad, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc.
