The accomodation was amazing 😍! Very spacious, clean and everything what was needed was there. My small children decided they wanted this to be their home. The host was very helpful and responded super fast. Nice views and peaceful environment. Excellent for those who don't like touristic places. The steep hill to the property will keep you fit 💪.

The cave house is nestled in a small hamlet, completely away from the city, offering breathtaking mountain views and a serene swimming pool. It looks exactly like the pictures, and the host, Sameul, is truly exceptional. He goes above and beyond to guide you to authentic local spots—hidden towns, scenic hikes, and stunning beaches—steering you away from overcrowded tourist traps. Under Samuel’s guidance, we had an incredible cultural and culinary experience. The location isn’t too far from the airport, with a taxi ride costing around 25-27 euros. While the cave house feels secluded, it’s still well-connected by public transport. The nearest bus stop is about a 1 km hike away, and we found buses to be a reliable way to explore most places, offering great service and stunning views. However, since buses run at long intervals, planning around the schedule is essential. Some of the island’s most exotic locations are only accessible by car, but that’s part of its charm—an island full of mysteries and natural beauty waiting to be discovered.

we really enjoyed our stay in the cave house! Our host was friendly and offered to help with everything. view from the house was amazing, from upper side you can see the valley and mountains surrounding it, all the way to ocean. apartment was cool during the day and pleseant to sleep during night time. there was all kinds of hiking trails starting right next to the house, beatiful nature and all kinda birds flying around. beautiful place!

Our stay at Casas Cuevas Techen was very enjoyable. The cave house is located just 5 km from Telde, in a quiet area away from mass tourism. The views of the mountains created a relaxing atmosphere, and the peaceful surroundings made it a great place to unwind. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking, and the spacious bathroom was a nice bonus. Our children spent a lot of time in the pool, while we enjoyed hiking on a trail that started very close to the house. Casas Cuevas Techen is a good choice for families and nature lovers looking for a calm and authentic place to stay in Gran Canaria.

“Caves house”

Cave house was nice and equipped. What was nice to have bedroom, living room and a bathroom separate. Samuel the owner was really nice and is doing his best to have a comfortable stay. He is really hosting with a high hospitality.

The place has a nice outback setting, and rustic. Nice with a terrasse, even though not the one with a pool as the properties image shows. The view is nice, but there is no sea view as the property description says.

It is a village outside the tourist area. You live among the locals. Good accessibility to the surrounding area of ​​the island. The accommodation is very original🙂

“Highly recommend for a unique, comfortable stay!”

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Cueva 1 as a family of four. The house was cosy, well-equipped, and comfortable, with a good size fridge, extra blankets for chilly evenings, and thoughtful touches like oil, vinegar, and soap. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, and the terrace BBQ was a great bonus. Samuel was a wonderful host, always responsive and providing helpful recommendations. We also had access to a utility cabinet with a washing machine. Although there is a little walk to get to the house, it feels very special to experience living in a cave house. The houses are well-situated in a quiet countryside village with local people, away from busy tourist spots but close enough (within 30 minutes to 1 hour by car) to most places of interest. The location was peaceful. It was a relaxing escape. Highly recommend for a unique, comfortable stay!

Nice little cave apartment. Big enough for us 3 (mum, dad and 2 year old toddler). Small and quiet village, the only disturbing sound may be the barking of a dog. Bars, restaurants and large supermarkets close to the apartment (5 minutes by car). well equipped, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, pots, pans Provides beach towel and parasol The cat of the hood was a great friend of my sun.
