I had a very nice stay, as usual at Schnider. I got a free upgrade which I appreciated. The room was very clean and large, with direct access to a private garden which was very nice. For an extra, the kitchen was available. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant operated longer time than usual including early dinner time. Overall a great stay, and good value for money.

The location is ideal. It’s only a short distance to the center of town and it‘s in between to bus stops (car parks are available). Everything was clean and (especially if you plan to stay longer) you can also use the kitchen (for a fee). I would definitely recommend this place.

Staff is very kind, the breakfast is amazing! The room are cute and clean, with a nice view. Less than 5 minutes walking from the thermes, free parking available.

“Amazing breakfast in a beautiful location.”

Breakfast -- there was a free breakfast every morning and it was an excellent & very well-balanced breakfast with options for eggs, oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit salad, pastries, cheese, cereal, and dried meats. Location -- it was a very short walk from Vals city center on the side of town closer to the 7132 Therme Hot Spring, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. Parking -- the parking lot was right in front of the building & thus very easy to find.

The location is amazing, right across the street from the therme, very close to the village center. The room was great with an outdoor seating area. The beds were fantastic! The breakfast was very good!

“For fans of midcentury modern decoration”

We stopped in Vals to chill at the famous thermal bath. The Schnider Bed & Breakfast is very close, the room we booked is actually located in an architecturally interesting building just next to the thermal bath. The original furniture and decoration are equally interesting, especially if you like cleverly designed midcentury modern style. The reception is in the café, where we were served an excellent breakfast by very friendly staff. (Be aware that the café, and therefore the reception, are closed on Mondays. You will pick up your keys in a letterbox next to the café.) (Please note that the kitchenette shown in my pictures is probably not meant to be used for cooking, as there is no kitchenware.)

The location was great, close to the thermal spa. The aesthetic of the room was great too.

They upgraded me for free with was a lovely gesture. The room was very nice, seemed quite new. It was everything I needed for one night; a no frills room. The breakfast was great; the presentation was beautiful on a tiered stone tray.

This place had everything I needed. I arrived later in the day, after working hours. The keys and letter with detailed information were left in the mailbox of reception. That was very helpful. The room had an amazing view of the mountains. The bed was single but very comfortable. I loved the pillow and blanket. Breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was very nice, with some great views. The additional things you could buy such as the cheesecake where very tasty.

Excellent breakfast with very attentive staff. Our daughter is vegan and the staff answered several questions without any fuss and organized a cappuccino with oat milch. Also me myself I got a "birchermüsli" without nuts. All in all we were really impressed by the service and spontaneous friendliness of the staff. We could also leave our bags in one of the apartments after the official checkot time while we were having a walk in the neighborhood.

The breakfast is unforgettable! Very tasty, very generous and very fresh. The stay in the wooden house next to the café is excellent.

Everything; my room was in Zerfalia house 4th floor, a modern style (1960’s-70’s???) building and interior design but re-made new so the room was very cool in design with everything one could need. the view was amazing and the room had a balcony where you could enjoy it but also you could hear the water from the Thermal Baths behind the building. The site/building was next to the thermal baths with a beautiful wailkway at the back. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in this hotel category.

The room.was spacious and comfortable. Very central and with a cafe next door.

“Perfect stay in Vals”

Perfect views of the surrounding mountains, especially in the morning when the sun hit them. It is also very very close to the Vals Thermes and close to the bus stop. The breakfast selection was amazing and the staff were very hospitable.
