“Freindly hotel serving good food in the hotel's restuarant. Ideal for a stopover on a long trip.”
We arrived mid afternoon when the hotel was closed but were able to book ourselves in as directions had been sent to my phone. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast catered for our gluten free requirements,

“Friendly small hotel with excellent restaurant”
We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly and down-to-earth manager, not in the least formal or "corporate". The hotel restaurant in the garden terrace was a superb setting, and the food and the service were both very good. Breakfast was also a good variety of fruit, cereals and pastries.

“Good for an stay overnight or for a few days.”
Quirky room in a 'log cabin' type extension across a courtyard Dinner was good, breakfast adequate (and price reduced as no croissants). Host most ebullient and friendly. Excellent place for an overnight and OK for longer stay.

“A great value and old world charm.”
The hotel has a very old world feel with simple rooms and decor. The restaurant serves delicious meals and the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Plenty of secure parking in their garage across the street. It was a simple and wonderful stay.

“Stay in Vals-les-Bains 2023”
It was quite, even though it was next to a busy road. Beautiful scenery to gaze at whilst having a rest or eating a meal.
