Overview
Featuring rock arches and wooden balconies, Hotel du Bourg is located in the heart of Valmorel, within 5 minutes' walk of many groceries, ski rental shops, restaurants and cinemas. The ski slopes are 100 metres away. Free WiFi access is provided in the public areas and in some rooms. All the rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a telephone. Each has a private bathroom that is fitted with a bath. At the Pub du Bourg you can sample a range of cocktails and aperitifs by the fireplace. A breakfast buffet is prepared every morning. In front of Hotel du Bourg you will find the Piou Piou Club, a day care centre and kindergarden ski school for children between 18 months old and 6 years old. Public parking is available next to the hotel.

“Nice little stay in the Alps”
The atmosphere in the hotel was warm and cosy, which is what tends to be looked for in accommodations in the mountains. I was spending the weekend as a volunteer for an event and had to leave the hotel early in the mornings. The staff opened the breakfast room hours before it was meant for us, which I think was very nice.

This hotel has a wonderful cosy vibe and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but cosy, the lovely atmosphere and location made this an excellent visit and perfect for skiing for all levels.

“Well situated hotel with lots of character.”
Very quaint property. All a bit dated but that gives it lots of character. The staff keep the place spotlessly clean. Conveniently located in the Main Street with a short walk to the lifts. The hotel bar is arguably the best in Valmorel and the guys there do a tremendous job and make you want to drink there ahead of anywhere else. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome.

“The best place to stay in Valmorel”
This is such a charming place! The hotel is in the center of the village with everything nearby. The rooms are cozy and very clean. There is a sauna downstairs which can be privatized for half hour. The staff is exceptional! Everything you need to spend a fantastic ski holiday! On top of that there is a great pub inside the hotel. It is really good value for money. I have stayed there before and will definitely return.

“The staff were fantastic and the location was ideal, but our room was outdated”
The staff were fantastic - super helpful, informative and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area, including recommendations for adults and children. They even helped us navigate the ski map and suggested the best lifts and slopes. The ski lifts were just a few minutes' walk away and took us straight to the ski areas for a hassle-free start to the day. The Piou Piou club, perfect for young children, was literally a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Our balcony even overlooked the club grounds, so we could watch our little one skiing from our room! The hotel's location in the heart of the village was excellent. There were plenty of restaurants and ski shops nearby, and we received discounts at some restaurants and on ski rentals just for staying at the hotel. The bar with its fireplace was a lovely place to relax after a day on the slopes

Our stay at Hotel du Bourg in Valmorel over Christmas and New Year’s was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind, making us feel right at home. Their warmth and attention to detail really made a lasting impression. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the ski lifts and close to the charming town of Valmorel. After a day on the slopes, the cozy pub was the perfect place to unwind, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Hotel du Bourg offers excellent service, a great location, and a warm atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable skiing holiday in Valmorel.

“Father and Son Ski Trip”
The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and the hotel was ideally placed for the bustling town center and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the chairlift. We will definitely be back!
