The most friendly place with great quality amendments. All well kept in a beautiful place - in a deep green valley with amazing view out the window. High quality breakfast and a bar for evenings. To top thing up - this little card with daily tips makes the experience even better. One feels taken care of. We want to come back.

“Wonderful ski-to-door hotel in perfect location”

I highly recommend the Alpenrose hotel! The Hotel is very nice, extremely clean, located within 5 minutes by walk to the nearest slopes- ski-to-door access confirmed!!! The hotel offers a good ski storage room with ski boots driers. We stayed in a family apartment, which provided a lot of space and comfort. The apartment is bright, cozy and has a fully equipped kitchen ( electric stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, plates, pots, cuttlery) where you can prepare dinner, sandwiches and even cook spaghetti! The hotel is owned by wonderful, kind and attentive people, they made our stay feel home-like! The hotel serves tasty and varied buffet breakfast: scrambled eggs, a wide choice of cheeses, hams, freshly baked croissants, freshly brewed coffee or tea, etc . Moreover, you are free to pick the food from the breakfast buffet and take it away to your room for later: it is a great option to prepare sandwiches or lunch at your room. The overall experience was just perfect, we could not ask for more or improve anything. Thank you for the great stay Alpenrose Staff and for sure will be back next year!

“Beautiful hotel and surrounding”

Super friendly and helpful staff! They prepared sandwiches for us when we had to leave early/ before breakfast. You'll receive a QR code to use the public transport for free. The rooms and beds are very nice and high quality. The valley is beautiful. We had an excellent stay!

It was clean and comfortable

Perfect location and perfect stuff.

Very friendly staff, every morning they prepare daily updates on what guests can do/use. An Almencard was part of the stay, allowing you to use free public transport and entrance to museums. As part of the accommodation, we received free admission to the aqua center in nearby Brixen. The accommodation has a ski storage room and a wellness center with a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a Kneipp path and a whirlpool. The lower station of the cable car can be reached on foot (approx. 900 m), by ski bus (1 station and the bus stops not far from the hotel) or go up approx. 150 m to the nearby blue slope, go down to the lift and let the anchor pull you to the main slope).

Amazing hospitality, great location.

Great staff were very supportive and friendly. They printed daily "news" for the guests (originally in German / Italian, for us they translated it via Google) with a lot of helpful local recommendations. We ended up exploring many of the suggestions and they were all great. Breakfast was fresh and yummy, especially the yogurt, and the staff kindly checked in with us every morning to make sure everything was going well. Staying in the town, Vals, was a delight. 20-30 minutes drive to everything we wanted to see in the Dolomites, but also out of the way from busy traffic and tourist roads. We walked around to the local Musikfest one Sunday, and there was a lively community event with live orchestra music, BBQ chicken and spaetzle. Only one restaurant in the town (the pizza restaurant), but it was wonderful and we ate there several times. Sauna in the hotel was small but well-heated, and we made use of it almost every day after hiking. Lovely views from our room.

The room was very clean and warm, great mountain view! The personal is very friendly and makes you a part of their family 😊 The location is good - 10 min walk / 3 min drive to the main ski lifts. Shops are 3-5 min walk from the hotel.
