Overview
Valldal Fjord Lodge B&B is situated at the foot of Sylte Mountain in Valldal, 100 metres from the Storfjord. It offers a terrace, furnished garden and free in-room Wi-Fi. The property was newly renovated in 2021. All rooms have a private bathroom. Some of the rooms overlook the pretty garden. The garden offers a seating area. A breakfast buffet with focus mostly on local and regional products is served in the breakfast area. Kayaking and rafting can be organized on the Valldal River. More adventurous guests might enjoy mountain climbing or a glacier hike. Please note that smoking is not allowed at the property. Free parking is offered on site. Ferries depart for the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord from Linge Harbour, which is 3 minutes drive away. The famous serpentine mountain road, Trollstigen, is 32 km from the hotel.

“Romantic hotel with the most delicious breakfast buffet”
Really cozy house with absolutely beautiful details everywhere. They have 2 big rooms for reading or playing dozen of fun and traditional games that was so much fun. The garden is great to enjoy too! Breakfast was fantastic and it's so nice that they use mostly fresh and locally sourced products.

“Average place and very pricey”
The beds were comfy. There was a small wardrobe which was handy. The kettle in the room for tea was a bonus.

Friendly and helpful staff. The lodge also had a basement area where you can play chess and other games which was nice.

Really nice place with nice internal garden. The breakfast was really good. Staff was very welcoming as well. Overall a great stay.

Nicely located hotel, clean and cosy room. Has garden and winter/summer lodges. Enough free of charge parking space. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is serving dinners, at least, the option was available during our stay. Breakfast is substantial and fresh.

Nice to have so much seating in the communal garden. Room facilities were all available as advertised, and clean. Good selection of continental breakfast items.

“Welcoming and peaceful facility in a beautiful setting with impressive renovations”
Person working at reception was exceptional ... friendly, patient, knowledgeable, informative. Loved the relaxing, welcoming music piped through speakers around the property. Appreciated by the backyard area for people to sit outside and visit or read and appreciated the lounge in the main building where we spent time both evenings playing scrabble. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food, especially given the size of the lodge and number of guests. Freshly baked bread was excellent.
