“Perfect organic farm stay”
Beautiful property, very friendly and helpful staff, just a very comfortable and relaxing place to spend a few nights. The food was locally sourced from the property and the beer was excellent. I would 100% stay again!

“Exceptional stay in a beautiful setting”
We stayed there for a few days and everything was exceptional. The natural surroundings, the farm, the accommodation, the food, the staff, and the fact that everything was built around sustainability truly impressed us. I don’t know when I will return to Iceland, but I can say with all my heart that I would love to come back here. We warmly recommend it to all travelers.

“New and clean but kitchen facilities are lacking”
The rooms were new and fresh, it seemed to be newly built. I think the bathroom floors were heated, which was very nice because the bathroom dried a lot quicker. Beds were comfortable and the shower was great.

“Simply magical and amazing!”
This was our favorite stay while we were in Iceland. When we booked we didn't have many reviews to go off of. When we got there it exceeded our expectations. The staff was accommodating, our room didn't have knives to cut with and our host provided them right away. We had no trouble using anything, everything was clean. We even saw the northern lights from right where we parked the car. I will say the best part was the heated floors in the bathroom! Again I could not say enough amazing things about this place.

“Best accommodation in east Iceland”
We were upgraded to one of the brand new apartments and it was fantastic. The apartment had a spacious kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Everything was new and clean and the room was warm. The hostess was lovely and prepared a delicious dinner out of local products from the farm just for us. The farm is located in a beautiful area by the Lagarfljót lake with lots of trees and amazing nature all around. Bigger town Egilsstadir is only 15min away by car. Nelson the cat was always checking on us:) wish we could’ve stayed longer!

“Amazing”
This was so amazing. The location is a dream if you have a car with you, so beautiful and quiet but 15 min from a big city. The food they have is magnificent and mostly produced by them, the rooms are small (as advertised) but very nice. They use their own wood, which makes the rooms look so cute. They had a problem which caused our room to only be ready on the second day, they called us in advance, arranged an alternative (bigger) room on their property in stead for the first night, and offered free breakfast as a compensation. The owners and staff are amazing. Very friendly, very accommodating.
