Breakfast wasn't provided. The room was modern and clean, with a little balcony and table and chairs. Sorry I couldn't have stayed longer to make use of it. Excellent value. The lady on reception was so nice, even though her English was very basic. I was travelling on my own and it makes a huge difference to know that hotel reception staff will go the extra mile to help, particularly when there's a language barrier. It was very much appreciated.

Location was excelent for touring city.

Good value for money Quiet Central location

I did not use the breakfast; the location was ideal - direct access by one bus from the train station and close to the centre; the room was large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was well-lit. The staff were very friendly and despite not speaking English (I don't speak Spanish) were really very helpful.

Friendly welcome and nice lady let me leave my luggage after checkout. Clean and quiet. Comfy double bed. Big bathroom with lots of places to put things. Large, powerful shower. Good location. Nice pancake restaurant nearby and decent little bar next door. There is also a supermarket a couple of doors down.

Really clean, small, quiet room with nice modern furniture and en-suite bathroom. Well situated.

The hostel itself is generally ok. Unfortunately because of how we were treated I am forced to give such a low rating. At the beginning we booked 2 nights. Since our plans changed, we asked to extend our stay by one day via e-mail. Hostel without a problem extended our stay. Unfortunately, on the spot it turned out that there is no room for us on the additional day. Such things happen and we would not have a problem with it if not for the fact that the staff did not give a damn. They didn't offer us any help in looking for another accommodation (there were several events in the city that weekend and there was no more affordable accommodation available). We were also not offered any gratification in return for our mistake. We were informed that after two days we should leave the room and that was it. Such behavior is unacceptable. Finally, we were forced to book a hotel where one night cost as much as 4 nights in Hostel Monaco. Apart from that, here is additional information about the hostel + rooms are clean - rooms are very small - rooms are badly soundproofed and very loud cleaning from the morning wakes you up in a very unpleasant way - no service in English - which in my opinion is unacceptable running this type of place receiving guests from all over the world.

Fairly central location, quite easy walk to city centre. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
