Stunning! We used the spa, had dinner, breakfast and used the cafe/bar. It was off season so we were practically the only people, which we loved. The staff were so friendly and helped us organise our onward travel. The views were out of the world in thick snow!!

Amazing hotel! Everything was great — the food was amazing, the pool was great too, and the views were awesome. The mountain view and the nearby river were super relaxing. Definitely worth it. I strongly recommend this place and I’ll be coming back again pretty soon.

“Luxury in the beautiful Albanian alps”
We really enjoyed our stay at valbona resort. It felt very luxurious for us. The large rooms were really comfortable warm and cosy. We had a wonderful view from our window of the alps . The region is absolutely stunning . No photos can do justice to how beautiful it is. We were there with snow on the peaks which we think added to the beauty . We were lucky to see the start of autumn foliage. The trip from shkoder on the ferry was the start of what we were to see. We walked from valbona to Theth over the pass . Which was difficult but so rewarding . If you take your time lots of rest snack breaks it’s better plus you get to sit and look around you . The staff at the resort were attentive and friendly especially the girls on reception . I tried to get one to take a dip in the river with me but she thought I was crazy . She promised to do it someday . I hope so. If you want a little luxury with great value this is the place . Oh and the meals were great . Breakfast was huge .

Beautiful new hotel, in the middle of beautiful nature. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we loved our stay at the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel for a few days stay.

The only problem, and in my opinion is quite an unfortunate one but by the management decision. The problem is that the morning was open untill 10:30. When i got there at around 10:00 am most of the food was already finished and what was left was cold or just not that much of a pleasure eating. For me this does make sense since I am paying full money and I should be getting the full experience, not having to wake up early so I can hopefully get something good to eat like I am in the military!

“Beautiful hotel in lovely location”
Hotel was in a beautiful location. Rooms were very spacious with an unbelievable view. Good location to do hikes from. We didn’t realise it was a 40 minute walk from the start of the Valbona pass hike but didn’t mind as the scenery was so good. Breakfast was really good. Spa was lovely after a big hike.

Fabulous stay in Valbona Resort & Spa! Great food in the restaurant along with prompt service. The leisure facilities were great, especially post a hike, staying open until 10pm. Bedrooms exceptionally clean. Staff at reception were very helpful. A lovely sandwich and cake stand outside a house a couple mins walk from the hotel, ideal for picking up lunch for the day! Would highly recommend staying in the Valbona Resort & Spa hotel!
