“Maybe the best in Val Thorens.”

We’ve stayed at half a dozen higher end hotels in Val Thorens. This is the best we’ve stayed at. Higher standard of everything. Staff are exceptional.

We enjoyed a fabulous 3 night luxury stay. Perfectly located centrally with its own ski rental/shop and ski in ski out.. There’s a lovely relaxed ambiance everywhere throughout the hotel. An amazing welcoming greeting on arrival which set the tone for our stay, tour of the hotel facilities, and complimentary upgrade. First time in Val Thorens and we could not have wished for better service or experience. Arrived by car and valet parking took care of it and our mountain of luggage. Everything easy here. Cannot recommend Le Fitz Roy and its team highly enough.

Great selection for breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries and hot selection along with cooked options from a la carte, so plenty to choose from. Rooms were in excellent condition and the central location to bars and ski equipment and the slopes was a huge benefit when travelling with kids. The evening treats, chocolate chip cookies and pool snacks were delicious as well!

Genuinely the best hotel stay I have ever experienced, all of the team were absolutely outstanding from the first meet and greet with the gentleman at the door, followed by check-in with the reception team, through to the team at the spa and at the restaurant, the attention to detail was unsurpassed. I have never written a better review about a hotel - would recommend to anyone who is looking for that next level service and looking forward to returning.

Breakfast was by Pos but not exceptional .Scrambled eggs cold , took an eternity to get a coffee as it was pass the message via waiter to the kitchen Just say black coffee jug available now Rooms of bedroom lounge breakfast dark but that’s the fashion now , poor cheese selection Must advise you that sole meunière was cooked to perfection three days in a row and service 100% Also allliwed to keep room until -400 which was very helpful

“Dissatisfied”

The staff at the restaurant, the bar, and the reception appeared unprofessional. We repeatedly had to ask for basic things, as requests were often forgotten or mixed up. At the reception, staff members consistently lacked answers even to the most basic questions and repeatedly had to consult a senior manager to understand how to proceed. Overall, the service gave the impression that there is no coordination between different hotel departments. Even within the same area, staff seemed unaware of processes and responsibilities, which significantly affected the quality of service. There appeared to be sufficient staff for the size of the hotel; however, the underlying issue seemed to be inadequate training and poor internal communication rather than understaffing.

That’s our 3d stay in this hotel which means we are totally in love with it. Great location ski in/out, very cosy and stylish room, beautiful spa, ski shop on the site, live music bar and great service.

The rooms and bathroom were nicely furnished and quality materials and good storage. The bar area and fire were lovely and very relaxing. The staff were excellent, friendly & helpful.

We loved everything about this hotel, the rooms, location, ski in - ski out, spa, pool and most of all the staff. They really make the experience, nothing is too much trouble and they’re always happy to help.
