“Good for purpose - no charm, but very functional”

Val Thoren is a high altitude ski-in ski -out village. For March skiing it worked perfectly - good snow, with immediate access to the slopes. In the apartment the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Shower, sleep and food preparation were all well catered for. Stef, although remote, was very responsive to sort out a couple of issues. The boot and ski locker in basement of the building was useful, as was the washing machine in the apartment.

Very cozy apartment with everything you need. It suited our family of 5 perfectly. Stef was an excellent host which made the stay even better.

Group of 6 adults. Cosy bedrooms (we didn’t use the one with bunk beds in) but great use of space and had everything we needed. Great communication from Stef - always on hand for any questions . Perfect location. The overall building you walk through to initially get to the apartment is dated but as soon as we were in the apartment we forgot that. Access to two ski lockers meant we had space for all our skis and stairs straight down to the ski lockers outside the apartment meant we were on the slopes in minutes!

We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place in Val Thorens. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a great week skiing. The location was ideal — easy access to the slopes, shops, and restaurants — which made getting around effortless. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, and check-in/out was straightforward. Overall, a great experience and excellent value. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The location is fantastic. It was great for two families during a half term ski break. Ski in and ski out was perfect. The bathrooms are on the small size but it’s brilliant to have two seperate areas, eg two showers and two loos. Stefan was a very attentive host. Would recommend

Modern apartment, with modern bathroom and excellent appliances. Has all amenities in the flat and is very comfortable for a group of 8 people. Location is amazing, the slopes are literally at the bottom of the building. Very convenient with 2 ski lockers. Host is very good, good communication throughout the stay. From the moment you make the booking to the moment he returns your deposit. Went above and beyond with helping us and is easily reachable via whatsapp.

Host was absolutely amazing. So friendly, helpful and communicative for months ahead of our stay - helped us with so many of the details of travel and staying in unfamiliar surroundings. Answered questions very quickly and nothing was too much effort. So grateful.

The apartment is in a great location, ski in ski out straight to the Peclet lift. The apartment is also situated well for the restaurants and bars in the main town. The apartment was stocked very well including the kitchen which had everything you could possibly need!

The location is great. Out of the ski locker room onto a blue piste with access to multiple lifts and a vast ski area. Also only a 15 minute walk to the lively bars at the top of town for good live music and aprés.

We had 9 adults stay here (3 couples and 3 singles). It fitted everyone perfectly. It was clean, well stocked with cutlery/plates etc for all. The owner Stef was easy to contact and a great host.
