Great hotel, great facilities and friendly staff. Thought bus to slopes would be hassle but very straightforward. Ate in the restaurant one evening and food and wine list were excellent! Room servicing was very good and flexible.

“Good but not great (for the money)”
Lovely hotel located in the centre of town. Has a bar & restaurant & breakfast is adequate but can get congested at times. Plenty of other restaurants & bars nearby for dinner, (usually attached to different hotels) suggest you make a reservation for these. This Hotel has a lovely indoor pool (robes/slippers supplied). A sauna (but very small) & a steam room (humum) that wasn’t very hot & didn’t work for several days!

“Great hotel which made our visit.”
I'm not one for writing reviews but this hotel deserves an exception as we had such a good stay. The reception staff were excellent- very friendly and helpful, eg my ski jacket zip broke on day one and within 10 minutes of me telling them they'd arranged a seamstress to visit the hotel and fix it. All hotel staff friendly and efficient. Location of the hotel is very convenient, right in the centre close to bars and restaurants, but the room was quiet- no noise from either the village or the reception- even though we were close to reception in Room 1; there was a sound proof corridor door that worked a treat. Room was compact but what we expected and very comfortable. Easy 5 min walk to the ski lifts and bus stop right outside for the free bus service every 10 mins or so. Good lounge with comfy chairs/ tables- good for post ski chill or snow-day relaxing. Breakfast was very good- wide choice and excellent pastries from their in-house chef. Ski shop next door with 20% discount for guests. Underground garage 50 meters away with dedicated parking for guests at 20 Euros per night- we used it for our hire car. Ski lockers in the hotel, and great swimming pool and suana/ steam room- compact but both good. Homely and good value-when we re-visit Val D'Isere we'll definately return to this hotel - well done and thank you Team Hotel Val D'Isere!
