“Nice hostel in Vadstena”
A good hostel near the Vadstena cloister church and only seven minutes walk to the castle. One can swim in Vättern around the corner and it is a very calm area.

Located directly on the water front, short walk from everything, simple and no frills, but clean and practical We checked in after hours and left early, so we never met anyone from the staff but it all worked seamlessly and as described

“This is part of an abbey precinct, and the peacefulness is very lovely.”
There was a breakfast room in our building, where we could bring our food and eat there. We liked the simplicity of the rooms (single beds) a bathroom, and magical views of the lake. The nearby village was delightful and there was parking for our car across the road from our room.
