“A gem in Vadodara”

This place is a gem, I loved the uniqueness of it. This is a family home that was built a long time ago and has history. The owners have renovated the property at great expense to make it very comfortable for guests. I particularly like the courtyard, it was quiet and very relaxing. I've never particularly liked the corporate style hotels even when they have more facilities, so this place was a real breath of fresh air.

Madhav Bagh is a Haveli style house with a beautiful inner courtyard, where you can forget you are in a large city as traffic noise is subdued and bird song is more noticeable. The rooms are beautifully spacious with ample changing space and sensational bathrooms. The breakfast is made to order and varies day by day. With only four rooms available to guests this is more of a homestay where you get to meet the hosts and learn about the history of the family.

The place was fantastic. Breakfast was great. Staff was superb and attentive, especially Gaurav. The hosts were charming and warm. If you're in town and need a place to get away from the bustle, have a little old world charm, with modern amenities, I highly recommend staying here. 5 stars.

It is a charming property and the hospitality is excellent. Indrayani was very helpful with suggestions. I had asked her about some local vegetable produce that I wanted. Though I did not remind her, she procured it for me when her staff went on his vegetable run. It is the kind of personal touch that sets such establishments apart from chain or group brands.

A very pleasant place with charming hosts who are passionate about their city and have plenty of recommendations to share with their guests. The food was delicious, both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

This is such a special place! Nothing like an impersonal business hotel. I have been welcomed by the owner of the mansion and his wife. Both were very friendly and kept me company during breakfast and the excellent diners by chatting with me. This is very much appreciated when traveling alone. The service provided by the housekeeper, Gaurav, was also worthy of a five-star hotel. Many thanks to the entire team, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vadodara.
