Abosuletely amazing place, biolific and with great wildlife just behind the window. We love this place! Host, Wuter, is super helpful and nice.

We was surrounded with a jungle. So we saw tucans, lizards and monkeys from a lovely terrace. There are also two agutis, who is living very close to the cottage. You can relax here in the shadow. The jungle is shouting around you at night. The owner was nice. We really love this place.

Absolutely lovely stay in the middle of the jungle, waking up with the monkeys. Of course that means you need a car to go anywhere else.

“A little piece of paradise!”

It is genuinely a little piece of private jungle! The open sides are covered with mosquito screens to keep the bugs out but you can lay in bed and watch the monkeys, iguanas and hummingbirds doing their thing in their natural environment. Heaven! The property owner is lovely and super helpful. He can get great deals on the tours you might want and will made us a reservation at the nearest restaurant on our first night (restaurant was fabulous too). It is a steep road to the loft so he even drove us and our luggage down as we weren’t initially brave enough! Beautiful lodge in an amazing location.

“Amazing loft in the middle of the Jungle.”

The loft is amazing overall, great location and close to the beach -5 minutes with car or 10-15 by walking. The place is located in the best spot ever, while you wake up in the morning you can see monkeys jumping close to the loft and overall the atmosphere is indeed the best. The host was very kind and we had no issue while staying there! Defo recommended!

“Beautiful hat in the middle of the forest”

A beautiful place in the forest, by the river, surrounded by wildlife. Wouter was friendly and helpful. His assistance was needed to place and pickup our stuff since the last 40m to the hat are very steep. There are no shades on the windows, just insect-protective nets so you really feel out in the wild

Pretty and remote cabin, the owner Wouter is really friendly and helpful. Great Italien Restaurant (Gusto) in walking distance. A beautiful beach is close but you should have a car The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is very clean. There will be insects inside, also raoches, nevertheless because it's in the jungle.

“Amazing vibes!!”

We recently stayed at this delightful loft just a few minutes from the main road and one of the best beaches in the area. The loft was well-equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, we particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony while listening to the soothing sounds of the river and the local wildlife. The owner, Wouter, was incredibly friendly and communicative, always available to assist us. It felt more like dealing with a friend than a property owner, which made our stay even more enjoyable. On day 4, Wouter offered to clean the room and change the bed sheets, which was a nice touch. Nestled in the jungle, the property is surrounded by the lush nature, flowers, and wild plants characteristic of Costa Rica. The neighbor’s roosters and hens added to the authentic vibe, and we loved waking up to the sound of the rooster each morning. The loft itself is simple but has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It’s accessible by 4x4 to the main entrance, but if you don’t have one, you can park about 25 meters up the hill and walk down. We stayed for 11 days, and it was the perfect amount of time to fully relax and explore the area. The internet speed was amazing, and I even got some work done without any issues with the connection. The loft is also pet-friendly, making it perfect for us and anyone traveling with their pets. We also got to meet Canela, Wouter’s amazing dog. :) Just a 5-minute drive to Uvita, you’ll find supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. If you have a car, I highly recommend exploring the area. There are beautiful waterfalls and other stunning beaches nearby, such as Playa Ventanas. Overall, this loft offers a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and authenticity, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway in Costa Rica.

Wouter was a gracious host and helped as much as possible. Close to Hermosa beach and a great Italian restaurant. A chance to do your own cooking. Excellent Wifi.

“Fantastic and beautiful place to get an introduction to local wildlife.”

We spend our 2nd and 3rd night in Costa Rica here and instantly got an introductions to the local wildlife that walks and flys by. Macaws, agouti, hummingbirds, parrots, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, Iguanas, butterflies and so much more. The place itself it stunning and and has everything you need for a great stay. Would have stayed longer if we could. Wouter is a great host and super helpful. Definitely recommend this place.
